There have been recent set backs for adoptees and our rights in Ontario, Canada. I put a links below so that you can read up on the violations being done to adoptees.

The good news is it IS being challenged.

Until then, heres some information in the following two links for you:

well first of all let me tellyou is you are from canada you need to know about a blood disease that could be in your genes. its called thrombofilia. its a disease where the blood is normally more thick or sticky plalets. this is cscary cause it can cause strokes or heart attacks. i have one side of the family that immigrated from Montreal. they have been there several generations (from France) and then moved to Wis and now michigan. they have all got it and the doctor told us all that its sometning that was in the problesm with where they lived. they have seen alot of this. so be ware. its a long dest and is at least 24 vials of blood to beable to check for this. also if you need to find some one. like here you would write the health department if you hae such things up there write to them and ask. we also have socila security admin. so you have something similiary sometimes they can give you names and social security numbers not sure what you have there. there is also cousinconnect.com leave messages there sometimes family will look on this take care and good luck also there is place where you can write for help here on geneology leave mesages there soemtimes someone will try and help.

adoption.com there is a place to register. I did this last week looking for my sister.
I may have found her. I am crossing my fingers now. I am hoping the lady that emailed me to help find her is not scamming me. She asked for 200 for her help. I did not pay her ad she sent me a email of the women she says is my sister and ask if it is her to send her the money. And f t is her i will. i put my foot down and said i would not pay for a scam. and she sent her email addy. And said i hope this helps you trust me. I hope it is her.
My point is be carefull on any site. there are people that will scam you to get moeny to find others. And adoption.com is a free site. it is the ones that say they will help... you need to watch for.
Good luck. Mine was born in 66.

it depends on how old you are and how old they are an agency called 'after adoption' can help you find them, they do charge for this but they are the cheapest agency that i have found and only take money for each step of the trace as it goes on, they are really helpful and friendly to talk to.

DO NOT PAY MONEY FOR SEARCHES.
There are search angels around who can help.
Searches who charge - are in for a scam.
To be used only if a reputable company - and if all other possibilities fall flat.

Put your details here -
http://www.plumsite.com/isrr/

You can also find support at the adoptee forum AAAFC -
http://www.adultadoptees.org/

And do look into the links Gershom supplied.

Wishing you all the very best.
Poss. xx
