I mean COME ON, give me a break! Have you ever been on the receiving end of a totally upside down reading?

The cards weren't REALLY upside down... (you were on the wrong side of the table.)

lol

Was this, perhaps, a new tarot deck? Usually, when you buy a new deck, the cards are all orientated the same way. If it was a new deck, that was held upside down, it would be pretty understandable for all the cards to come out that way.

I don't read my cards in an upside down or up fashion. They are all upside up - that's how they were made. Negative and positive readings are based on the surrounding cards and the question asked. Death (or rebirth), for instance, may be bad for a woman asking about her pregnancy, but may be welcome for a man with cancer (death or rebirth of the cancer - depending on the surrounding cards). The cards are neither positive nor negative - they just are. The circumstances that surround them make them so.

Sounds like you've got lots of challenges in your life right now then. Me, personally, I don't read upside down cards. I also don't read tarot that often. lol I prefer other decks of cards.

Weird! Never had a completely upside-down reading. Guess it depends how you shuffle them I guess.

This is why I don't bother interpreting upside-down any differently.

My friend Joel had this happen and it the reverse meanings were right on the money.

It was a free reading so no one was profiting off of it.

I don't care to be bothered figuring reverse meanings, so I keep my deck all facing the same way. Give it to me straight!

The deck was facing the wrong way.
Traditionally, the deck is only read one way, anyways. "reversed" cards are a modern affectation.

It probably means you accidentally flipped your deck during shuffling. Re do it.

Maybe your kid will be born with three 9's on his head instead.
