Is it possible for the power of prayer to work and cease all evil?
Could praying for Satan's return to God and his ability to repent for his wrongdoing result in all evil ending and the "Garden of Even" being re-established (metaphorically speaking)?

^lol^ I realize it's a bit hippocritical of me to ask a question about "evil" given the avatar I have displayed. But hey, I "didn't go to evil medical school just to be called 'Mr' Evil." ^lol^

The way I understand it (and don't ask me where I find this information b/c I don't know. it's all second hand to me b/c as other religions have made very clear, Catholics don't read the Bible - and I happen to be Catholic. lol.)....sorry I digress. Let me start over.
The way I understand it is that after the Fall, evil and sin were introduced to the world with no hopes of God's Edenic reality ever being restored. BUT He sent His only Son to come and attempt to save our souls; so that we would not all have to automatically be "damned to hell".
(John 3:16 anyone?)
That's the way I understood it. So to answer your Evil question, I don't think that could happen. Even if the devil did repent, man's sinful human nature would keep perpetuating evil - even w/o the devil.

contained in the devil's advise, Al Pacino sums it up completely whilst he is going in this tirade approximately god and his sick humorousness. i'm vulnerable to believe the character. it form of feels that if some thing so evil unquestionably existed and a tension it extremely is meant to be all sturdy and effective ever existed; it only is sensible that the sturdy guy might "zap" the undesirable guy out of existence. except, the sturdy guy unquestionably does have a sick humorousness. i'm not an atheist; besides the indisputable fact that, i don't think of there is an maximum suitable evil being with supernatural powers. As a Pagan, i'm able to make certain a duality in all issues. Somedays I unquestionably have extremely effective ideas approximately existence and on different days... the only genuine evil lies interior the minds of our human species.

It is impossible for Satan to repent; he is evil, he was thrown from heaven forever, along with other fallen angels. As long as Satan exists, evil will thrive; you can rebuke Satan or evil in your life through steadfast prayer, but can't banish what exists. I do agree, if Satan never fell from grace, the Garden of Eden might've had a different outcome, and evil wouldn't exist.

what is considered god, and what is considered evil... that is where we first must begin our understanding... The bible says... "You will know them by their works" Books including the bible are sources of information as in all sources of information you must see how that information is used, and what is taught through it... the definitions of good and evil, biblically speaking come from christianity.. the practice of prayer is also christian... Satan and God also words used by christians.. so the christians preach they know it all.. who can know it all when all is not yet known.. How could this be? It's easy when any lie is preferable to the truth to be the first to claim knowledge.. the bible refers to "Satan will be called god of the earth". The bible says that many will be deceived... and the deceived are certainly hypocrites, claiming to know yet not knowing a thing.. one verse says "do not as the hypocrites do and pray out in the open"... well who prays out in the open... THE CHRISTIANS DO... and it is the christians who depend on "prayer" to get things done... "you will know them by their works" christians live by what is called the father of the lie... where lies control the out come... How come we don't see the root of evil.. because the ones warning us the loudest of it are the ones serving evil... NO Prayer will not solve it.. ending the practice of religion will.

First Satan was not in the garden. The Bible never says he was.
Second, you are assuming that Satan or the Devil originated from Heaven which is also not a clear biblical teaching.
Third, if in fact he did come from Heaven and then repented and "returned" that would not stop evil or sin in the world because we would be left with our choices.
Fourth, if you haven't notice when mankind is left with choices many times evil is the result.
Fifth, I have no idea why I number this. LoL

satan can't repent !
He Is a created being. He wasn't made In God's Image & Likeness.
Only we as human's have this gift.
We are made In the Image & Likeness of God.
However, satan did have free will and he made his choice. If satan could repent do you think God would have made Hell for him and his fallen angels ?

Interesting. I asked a similar question a few months ago and got the same fundie answers stating that satan's path is unalterable or that god wouldn't take him back. Apparently there are limits that they choose to impose without knowing anything about what they are actually constraining....but that already happens with faith and belief, so why should I be so surprised?

No. Evil existed before Lucifer took the position as Satan. After all, if everything was Good the it would not be possible to sin against God. Good cannot exist without evil.
