Most small independent dealers will have "back line" cars that they don't want or can't sell. These cars typically end up in the auctions. You might try a few of them to see what they have.

Buying a $500 car is only going to buy you problems.

hi, have u thought about going to a junkyard? they sometimes have cars for sale there. also $500 would be a price u could find at a junkyard for the kind of car u r looking for. just call up the junkyard & ask them if they have a car to sell for around $500 & go from there. i have a friend who owns a junkyard & sometimes sells cars there for cheap money. so i'm sure that in whatever town in wisconsin u live in has a junkyard, so give it a shot & let me know how u makeout ok? nobrethequeen@yahoo.com
