Shasta was hiding on vet day like she always does. As I walked across the room, I kicked a mylar ball which landed at the edge of the chair she was hiding under. I laughed as I saw one black and white paw reach out from under the chair and swat the ball. She just couldn't resist! What did your cat do to make you laugh?

My cat likes to play a game whenever we aren't sitting down. She sits near a common pathway holding her paw up and slightly outstretched (I call it "paw at the ready") then when we walk by she taps us with her paw. She's done this the whole time we've had her. Every time we move she finds all the high traffic pathways and parks herself their when we are on the move. It's funny because it's so casual, she's not swatting, she's not trying to get us to play. It's like she's giving my pant leg a "high five!"

She also can't stand not being in the same room as us. If we are in a room with the door closed we can always see a little grey paw stretched under the door. I don't know if she thinks she can open the door this way or if she is just trying to say "HEY! You forgot me!" But it's so cute!

My cat is very clumsy. He's fallen so many times, I can't even count them all. In one case, I lived in an apartment and -- like most pets -- he would wait in the window when he knew I should be coming home. He was sitting on the back of our couch, watching through the window, the shades behind his back. He suddenly got this wide-eyed look on his face and slid down between the couch and the wall. If cat's could talk, he would have been cussing. He just had that "OH, sh**" look in his eyes as he slowly sank down.

At our house, we would eat breakfast at our dining room table which happened to be at a window, so we could see outdoors as we had breakfast. Our cat would jump onto the window ledge outside and rub his flank along the window. He would want to turn around and do the other side, but there was no room on the ledge, so he'd go back and forth repeatedly trying to figure out how to turn around. He would always fall just when he thought he had made it.

We don't allow our cats to sleep in our bedroom but we do let them in in the morning after we get up. In the morning, when the alarm goes off, I begin to see a big black paw pushing under the bottom of the bathroom door trying to get our attention so we will open our door.

We have two really large cats and one really small cat. They like to play but the biggest one is also the youngest and he has no control. He can run faster than Midnight but he can't do corners like Midnight can. When they play Midnight will race with Bubba chasing right behind him and Midnight is very smart. I have twice seen him round the corner in the hall right above the steps. Midnight can stop but Bubba can't and both time he has gone crashing down the stairs because he forgot they were there.

Cats are so much fun to watch them play

Not that my kitteen did something funny
More adorable or smart

Don't be sad becuz it ends well

A few weeks ago some kids knocked at my apartment door
They had a kitten (maybe 4 months old) they said it was hit by a car
I could see it was NOT
NOT NOT NOT hit by a car

The kitten had a cyst on he back of its neck
I took the kitten, drained her cyst
She was warm and I have other cats and had some 45 day old meds and took a chance
In about 20 mins she cooled and I drained the cyst again
She made it thru the nite and the vet lanced the cyst, fully drained it, gave new meds and within 4 hours she was walking around and eating
What she did later that night was...

I was in bed, she got on the bed, under the covers, poked her head out, snuggled into me and went to sleep
It is like I'm the momma now

I named her Rubina
She sleeps with me, odd that she is NOT on my lap now even
She follows me...

My kitten loveess playing in boxes. I got some stuff in the mail yesterday and he was jumping back and forth out of each box like he was a commando or something. : ) He also likes to act like he's bigger than the dog..he's a puppy also, but he's BIG and he'll wait until he knows he's not looking and then he'll do that half walk on his back legs w/front paws up over to him and swat at his ears and then take off towards his hideaways and wait for the dog to come after him...they're so funny! He always makes me smile. :-D

I have a Maine Coon by the name of Molly. She gets what I call the "hooligans". She will run around making a meowing/purring sound in short, quick bursts and then jump around the living room from this chair to that chair to that table and then go running up the stairs off of the living room. Then she will jump up at the walls swatting imaginary critters and meow really, really loud. It echos in the hallway and she loves to hear herself meow. Then she will come running back down the stairs, find a place to lay down (usually on the back of one of the chairs she just attacked) and fall asleep. She acts like nothing just happened! Its hysterical. Molly is a wild woman, but I love her.

My cats like to put thier paws under the door when we are in the bathroom to get our attention to let them in. My cat, Patchy, randomly runs through the house at top speed like he is on a race course, jumping on to furniture, behind the couch, over people and through the kitchen and back again, all the while meowing in a little high pitched voice, I will have to record him one day.♥

One of my cats, Tank, wants to be IN THE BATHROOM with whoever happens to be in there. Problem is that he's only 9 months old and about the size of a 1 year old child, because he is a Bengal.

So I personally don't like him in the potty room with me, so I'll shut the door on his face. He then tries to open the door via the door knob. He eventually gives up because he has no thumbs, so he jumps up to the light switch, flicks it off, and walks away.

He's Tank the Terrible!!
