I think you miss that fact that there is no self control there at this point. That is the whole reason to deny God, so you can 'live' as you like with no restraints. at least thats what they think.

Christian response: **Shudder** I think it will be Chaos!! But I don't think that most people have given that ANY thought. They don't think about the fact that so many are helped through the "Body of Christ" in such things as the local Missions that distribute food, & clothing & shelter, or some of the local churches that also do the same, or hospitals that take in the poor & help them. Even agencies such as Red Cross, Salvation Army, or so many others, that are "Christ centered", and helping the people. All those type of agencies will no longer be here to help. It will be a "dog eat dog" world, where the "bullies" run things! **Yikes** what a scary thought!

lol Deke, I think I might be the only other person here that understands that! Ahh yes the big brown bus of crazies! :)

And to the original Poster:

WHO are you to think you know all the answers. HOW the hell do you know what would be in store for an athiest? I'm not an athiest, and I am not a christian, i DO have some faith though...but EVERYONE in this world has different faiths and beliefs...and I think there is more out there than just following a religion...I think that living ethically, having good morals, and enjoying life is more important than worrying about the afterlife. I believe we have many lives and that the soul recycles into a new soul - I think one life LEADS to the next...see we all have different beliefs! WHY NOT RESPECT THEM instead of JUDGING upon thy others...Just worry about your own life, and the rest of us, including the athiests out there (I HAVE MANY FRIENDS WHO ARE) alone!

PS RULES - YOU DO Mean brainwashing don't you?

I am the spirit
always have been
why do you think I am an atheist and disbeliever in your wimpy little god

no self control and no rules already is my kingdom
I already have eternal life
Mine already is on Earth as it is in Heaven
my prayer already worked

why would I wanna care about some loser's bible?
I have the living manifest eternal words of The Real God all around me as a manifest NOW

Eternity by definition could never ever ever ever even exist if it wasnt always completely enclosed in the ever changing NOW

This does have to be among the more nonsensical things posted here in recent days.

Sorry, hon, but if you wanted to "dis" atheists about their ability to control themselves and to follow rules, you should have learned to make sense and spell correctly first. Otherwise you just reinforce our belief that we're FAR more disciplined than are believers.

Atheists practice other things like meditation and so have self-control, whereas those who believe in weird doctrines just pray and expect someone to give them self-control. It doesn't work that way.

Really? When is this supposed to happen? Most atheists are internally controlled by their moral system as opposed to subscribing to the need of external reward and punishment.

"No rules and no self control." Sweet...sounds like good drugs to me. I'm all for that. I'll bring the munchie snacks. Hey, does this include us Atheists too or just the ahteists?

In case you hadn't noticed, moral systems have nothing to do with religion: they are a result of evolution, which applies to societies as well as to species: a society which adheres to a sound moral code will survive preferably to one that does not. We all follow the rules because we enjoy living in a functional society.
