What kind of bad things would happen if everyone could clearly see that God existed? (besides that Satan would be lonely)

Evolution is accepted by nearly all scientists... so now we don't even need God for creation.

Logically... God and evil don't even make sense...

What's the point in making all these road-blocks? It would be so much easier if I didn't like to read & think.

Matt 11:25

I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

If God exists, I've always figured he must be like a scientist, and creation is his experiment. A good scientist tries to remove himself from the equation as much as possible. That's the only explanation of God's absence that makes any sense to me.

More people in the world have not so complex intelectual thinking and they can see something with their eyes of hearts. They are like children willing to accept to any gift from others and be grateful.

It's OK with evolution theory, still it cannot satisfy to know Who makes anything in the beginning and Who keeps planets steady in their orbits and do not crash.

The point is to make us open our heart to the mistery beyond any senses, a mistery we cannot apprehend 100%, a mistery to be revealed.

God does not hide, perfect love casts out fear and why in the world would the Creator hide out from Creation? The wise and learned do not see God like little children because their senses have been dimmed by time. If you blow in the face of an infant, they always inhale. I believe this is an innate physical attribute of sucking in the Holy Spirit. We could too. Reading and thinking does not negate the ability to do so.

Scripture clearly tells us that no one can see God and live. He's beyond our limited capacity of comprehension. Even if we DID see Him and survived it would be such a tremendous event that words wouldn't be able to describe it.

The passage about hiding these things from the wise and learned speaks of hiding the Truth. God is so simple that the learned and wise in society would have a hard time dealing with that. He's a mystery. simply yet too complex.

God does not hide, people hide the truth. When God is in your life, he shows himself to you in many, many ways. Every single person who has a relationship with God can give you example after example of his help, love and guidance in their lives.

If you do not know God, you of course wouldn't recognize him, he would be a stranger to you, but once you do know him you will see his help, feel his love and know with out a doubt that he is there, he is real and he has always been there.

You can not tell a person who believes in God that he does not exist because God himself has already proven to them that he does exist.

We do not need science for God to show us that he is in our lives because he shows us himself.

God doesn't hide.

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring."

"'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears, understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them"

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse proclaims His handiwork”

"(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are WRITTEN ON THEIR HEARTS, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)"

"Men occasionally stumble over the truth,
but most of them pick themselves up
and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
Winston Churchill

"The atheist can't find God for the same reason that a thief can't find a policeman."
Author Unknown

"God exist whether or not men may choose to believe in Him. The reason why many people do not believe in God is not so much that it is intellectually impossible to believe in God, but because belief in God forces that thoughtful person to face the fact that he is accountable to such a God."
Robert A. Laidlaw

God cannot hide if God is a part of everything in creation. It is deceptive and divisive to humanize God as being able to hide from his creation, much like kids play hide and seek. It's true, we cannot comprehend God, but we can understand that if God was not a part of his total creation the universe would cease to be. God is in every cell of everything in the universe.

Have you ever looked at it this way: Maybe He's not hiding. Maybe He's right there, but you just don't (want to?) see Him. Or perhaps you just need to study the Bible more, to find Him. Millions of people already have, so He can't be hiding that well (if He's really hiding at all).

He doesn't. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned.

John 17
3 And this is life beternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Signs follow those that believe, not the other way around. In other words, people are not show a sign and then they will believe, because they still wouldn't believe.
