Totally depends on what you want and what your ambitions are. Both countries are very diverse, have very different cultural influences and there is good and bad and ugly in each one.
Canada tends to be cleaner, less racist, more socially acceptend of minorities and has no slums, like the USA.
The USA has much more business opportunities, with a population of 300 Million to 30 Million In Canada.

Both countries are going "downhill," but I would have to say the U.S.A. because eventually, the Muslims are going to take over Canada. The U.S.A. also has a better health care system. Canada's is horrible. Canada's patients often go to the U.S.A. for treatment and such.

If you are illegal, you would enjoy the multiple free benefits in Canada. Plus, you would be more welcomed. The US has totally had it with illegal lawbreakers who sap our tax dollars and resources.

Which ever one you are most comfortable in, politically and or societally. There is an old saying, "the grass is always greener on the other side."
