is there a way where i would be able to download a ps2 game onto my ps3 system, like if i borrowed final fantasy 7?

Hi,
You would most likely have to mod your PS3 to extract all of the files in which the CD consists to your PS3, meaning, basically downloading a copy of the game to your hard drive. Your gunna have to mod it.
