Loneliness... I have thought quite a bit about this. I think that loneliness is so hard for humans because in our natural state (a spirit state) we are so closely connected to one another that it is easy to find connection and undestanding. Then we come here and encase ourselves in skin and that intrinsic connection is gone. In a spirit state we can fully understand others - in a physical state, we can at best get close to understanding, based upon our experiences (and that understanding doesn't always match up with the person's understanding - though it may seem that way in conversation).
Pros of loneliness:
- We get time to know and like ourselves.
- We are driven by loneliness to seek out connections in our search for similarities.
- We feel
Cons of loneliness:
- It can be draining and frustrating to be so seperate.
- It can inspire us to delude ourselves in our efforts to attach to someone that we can make mistakes and waste our time.
- It can be damaging to our health
- It can force us inside, into our own private hell that can be very difficult to get out of
I would think that the leader of a revolutionary movement (like Jesus) would be most distressed if once he was caught everyone else turned themselves in. The movement must continue and I am sure that he understood that - along with understanding the nature of our being, of our essence, giving him comfort enough not to take it personally.
Peace!

We know with loneliness can also come a great time for reflection of one's self and praying and meditation. There are times when I've been so alone and for days on end (Winter!) and once I quit wallowing in self-pity, I found I can actually enjoy the solitude. God really does fill those 'empty times' if you allow Him in. When in the garden before the soldiers came to arrest Him, didn't Jesus go off by Himself for prayer? There's our lesson right there. That was also a good example of our own pleading from time to time when He, too, could ask the Father to please let this cup pass from Me if it be Your will. He didn't want to have to go through this trial, but accepted it if God knew it was for the best. He knew His Father, and ours, would help Him get through it! These quiet times are necessary in our life to help us get closer to God. Another great read on solitude most of us have read, I imagine; "Walden's Pond"-by Thoreau

Some people are loners and some are not. It depends on the person.
We know about the actual Jesus, including whether he existed. The New Testament was written decades after Jesus supposedly died, by peopel who didn't know him.
"Spiritual portal" is a vague term that sounds rather meaningless.

That's a good question. He was made to be man to have the same needs as men and see eye to eye with the typical battles of men.
Right before he was arrested and he asked his friends to stay awake with him while he prayed - didn't he sweat blood because he was so upset?

He knew that the hour had come for the son of man to be handed over to the authority. He only prayed that The father`s will be done, which was to save sinners from sin, which led to death.
And so Gods will for Jesus was to die for all humanity.
And so we are called to pray to God,to let his will be done into our lives.
Pray to God,In Jesus name. Pray to Jesus to reveal himself to you.

Yes He felt lonley.
He WAS alo fully human as well as fully God.
That is why He is the ONLY one who can truley understand how we DO feel, because Jesus DID fully experience all human emotions.
