If you need more information read The 12 Planet by: Zecharia Sitchin and the other Earth Chronicles (10)) as of today. The tablets were discovered in the late 1800 and date back further than the flood. Over 100,000 have been interpreted the last time I checked. Was he a god or a demi god, there were so many. The Bible speaks of other gods, one called Baal, considered the moon god, and why does the muslim flag have the cresent moon on it. They call their God Allah, could this be traced back to one of the gods mentioned in the Bible? Why were there so many gods fighting each other to prove that they were the MOST HIGH GOD ? Sounds like some ego problems to me. Many declared to be The most high god, who won this war of the gods?

because the sumerian tablets tell a story, an epic as you say it. since then, people told stories- that's the way popular culture was transitted to further generations.
iliada and odiseea are also epics, and you meet gods there- these are stories.
back then information was metaphorically presented, in a story way...the same thing happens at present times...but the contemporary society doesn't belive in miths any more....

You appear to incredibly mixed up and mis informed. This comes from reading pulp fiction, disguised as fact like Sitchin's books. (Which I have read) and the bible. (also read).
