After finishing lunch, i found a 1 inch long animal on my plate. What should have I done right after i saw it? Could I have drank anything to avoid contamination? Was vomiting a good idea?!?!
Thanks for your time!

You don't say what the "animal" was. A worm? A beetle? A gazelle? What you should have done depends on where you were. If in a restaurant, you report it and don't return to that restaurant. If vomiting made you feel better about this, then it was fine to do so. I sincerely doubt that any harm will come to you. Insects are eaten in many parts of the world.

oh...

well, if vomiting made you feel better, then it is a good idea...

if you saw that errr creepy-crawly in your plate and you didn't eat it, then nothing would happen...

well, the worse that a worm can do to you is diarrhea... unless of course you were able to eat it... but if you hadn't swallowed the worm then i guess you'll be fine...

don't worry... and a trivia, worms and a few insects are a delicacy in my country...

=)

1. If you saw it in time you should not have eaten it.
2. If you are not sure call the local health nurse for advise.
