Muslims will say the Nobel Qur'an. Christians will say the Holy Bible while the Atheists will say the Magic 8 ball! what style of imprecise question is this. I as a Muslim take Qur'an as my instruction manual to the straight away course.

I have never messed with an 8 ball ... don't know much about it.
The bible ... the problem with the bible is that people these days don't live like people in those days. Most of it really is good advice to live by ... but there's no reference to understand it by anymore.

For instance ... a really good thing to live by that will save you alot of trouble is this; Always fasten the traces first and hold backs last. And when undoing, in reverse - always take the holdbacks off first, and then the traces.
That's all fine and good. Excellent advice to live by, will save you lots of time and trouble and heartache ...
But if you have no idea what a trace or a hold back is ... or even what it's in reference to ... what good does it do you???

You have to live back with the earth before much if any of it begins to make sense ... and then the guidance there is indespensible. Beleive me ... been there.
As for how to treat other people, it's all in the golden rule - treat others how you would want to be treated. Simple as that.

Yes because none of the magic 8 balls teachings dictate that you should kill your wife and neighbor because they were having an affair.

Following the real teachings of the Bible rather than just what Grandma told you is better.

Most people only glance at the Bible or assume what it says. For them, the magic 8 ball does just as well.

Someone who studies and applies Bible council in their lives will find their personal and family lives improve dramatically.

Depends which part of the bible you are referring too.

I think my wife would prefer I use the magic 8-ball if I believe she is cheating on me. If I followed the bible, I would read Numbers 5 and then make her drink water mixed with dust and old sacrificial blood. Then if she didn't die from infection, I could stop being paranoid and believe she was faithful to me. If she died, I could praise God, because it would be proof that she was an adulteress.

If I used the Magic 8-ball, it might say 'yes' and I would have to divorce her.

I think that there are some wonderful teachings in the Bible that could benefit mankind. I also realize there are some passages more notably in the OT that are quite horrid.

I would say that my life is sometimes complimented with both teachings of the Bible and some common sense. A lot of our society has been formed by Christians, to deny that is just dismissing several facts.

While I could not base my life on the teachings of the Bible in entirety, very few people do so. I think it is mostly interpretation.

Dear Bluto -
All Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled to date has been 100% accurate. I am sticking with a winner..... the magic 8 ball I had as a kid was wrong on numerous, very important things!

If you decide not to "got with a winner" at least have a Bible handy in case end time prophecy is fulfilled in your life time.....

Did that magic 8 ball create the heavens and the earth and all that is between?
Did the 8 ball give you hearing, sight and understanding?
is that 8 ball not a created thing?

Are you playing?
