If you buy the 60GB PS3, you will get AV cables, one controller, and power cord. I bought mine when the 60GB PS3 first came out so I got the Blu-Ray DVD Talledagea Nights, but it's not included anymore.

The 80GB PS3 comes with the same thing as the 60GB PS3, but it also comes with a free game: Motorstorm.

The 40GB PS3 is coming soon and will come with Resistance Fall of Man and Motorstorm as free games.

The console has built in Wi-fi capabilities which is awesome. It also comes with a blu-ray player, HDMI output, and free internet. You will probably have to buy one of the various highdef cables yourself.

There are different versions that come with different offers. Some stores offer the PS3 with 7 free blu-ray movies!

The 80 gig version comes with Motorstorm, which is an awesome game and high def cables included.

There is a new 40 gig version for $399 coming out in early November and it supposedly comes with a game (Resistance: Fall of Man or Motorstorm) and maybe a movie, but that remains to be seen. It is probably true though.

The real selling point is truly the console itself. I love my PS3. My wife and I love watching Blu-ray movies on it, I use it to surf the internet, and I love playing games online for free.

Get a PS3. You won't regret it.

I think it depends when and where you get yours from. I got mine from Costco and it came with an extra controller Genji:Days of the Blade and Talledaga Nights.
