should we have a government sponsored execution squads shooting drug dealers, murders, rapists.
If you have done nothing you'll have nothing to worry about!
Or I'm a little bit over the top? :-)))

Of course we are too soft on crime.
The government need to take a long hard look at where this country is heading (sewer bound).
Sentences are becoming increasingly lenient and in many cases does not reflect the crime committed. In any case the sentence is always reduced, which is a joke within itself. The deterrant is no longer there. Prison is no more than a closed holiday camp.
There are too many do gooders who want more community based punishments. HELLO....... that does not work!!
We need to get tough and send out the right message. We also need to send back any immigrants who commit crime. Many of these are drug dealers in the city I work (FACT). We can't send them back because they might get killed in their own country. Instead lets allow them to live here on benefits, deal drugs to our children and go around shooting each other.
What a load of bollocks it is!!

We ourselves have made the law what it is today All the goody two shoes and bleeding hearts. If you do the crime you do the time if you have enough people and demonstrate the government has to do something for rape we put them in jail and lock them up for 23hours a day big deal put them in with the cons and you will see the rape count dropping as they know the cons will deal with them these people that do that are cowards and we protect them they take advantage of the law let the cons take care of them

Suggest you read your history books, Judge Jeffries was an example of government sponsored execution squads, didn't matter if you were innocent, but I have to agree, this government is too soft on crime.

America executes its criminals and crime there is MUCH worse than here - it simply doesn;t work.
Also, executing someone costs around 7 times as much s keeping them in prison for life with all the legal appeals and hearings etc. There have been cases in the US of schools being closed as local districts run out of money trying to execute someone.

No you're not over the top. .... I firmly believe in capital punishment for real out and out scum .... I would like to make each execution public and call to account any do gooders who assisted their early release or assessed them as to be no danger to the law abiding of our country.

Yes we have gone soft on crime.
Most criminals see a jail sentence as just a vacation because they know all their stuff will be untouched when they get out.
Shoot them all, we dont need the drug dealers, rapists or murders in this society.

The obvious answer is yes!
Thanks to the liberals and their belief that no one is responsible for anything.
Someone is now a murder because they were abused or came from a broken home or some other lame brain excuse.
Spanking is now abuse and not discipline. Children now rule the home instead of the parents.
The liberals want to argue that the death penalty is cruel and unusual.
Only criminals are allowed to have guns, regardless of what the 2nd Amendment says.
Obviously we've gone soft! Thank a liberal!

You won't stop crime after the crime has been committed. I know, sounds weird, but that's what we do. We don't stop people from committing crimes altogether, we stop them from committing further crimes. The system does nothing to help them BEFORE they commit a crime.
We have to change each within ourselves to help our future generations. The system won't do it, the government won't do it, the teachers can't do it ... we have to. The parents.

I think that we have gone soft on crime, however, execution squads? ;-) I think that a life of hard labor with no hope of parole in a remote area is a pretty good alternative. I do think that punishments are too soft, especially in crimes against children.

Now that our prisons are overpopulated we could resume the old method of sending people to far and distant lands (perhaps war torn areas). I have a few good ideas, but they wouldn't include Australia.
