Will never happen. I am 35 and have three children that believe stongly in their faith. They will grow up and have children and teach them the same things that they believe. They will have children and pass their beliefs on to them. There is your 100 years, and there are still believers. Even if Christ returns, there will be unbeleivers in the 1000 year reign, those that follow another religion or none at all. So not until Satan is thrown into the lake of fire will religion cease to exist.

The younger generations seem to be less and less interested in joining "clubs" that identify what they believe--so there may very well be a huge upheaval that totally changes religion as we know it.

However, I believe it will still exist in some fashion, even if it is only "every man for himself" as far as what one believes. This is something humans have been fascinated by for millenia, so I don't think that will change.

As far as cultures, people find them a useful and meaningful way to identify themselves, so I'd have to disagree on that one, too. Culture will change, but we will continue to define ourselves by our differences as long as we are human.

No any? what is that?

No, in 100 years there will still be religion. As long as people live, there will be people that need the comfort and structure religion brings.

And it is impossible that there will be no "culture". Our culture is derived from all people and lifestyles that exist. Culture, although it may change, will always exist.

I disagree. I believe that we will still have as many religions (maybe more) than we do now, and as far as culture goes, as long as there are people, there will be culture.

I think there'll be something like a nuclear war, or partial destruction of the planet, where everyone has to fight for themselves. That will take man made things like religion and cultures out of the picture and we'll all have to learn to survive like humans again. But in another couple of thousand years after that, we'll be back to where we are now, with religions.

I look at it like the startrek future, one unified earth under one central government. Exploring space and maybe maybe not discovering new life. Once we get over our petty squables here on earth and start to explore space, new horizons will be opened and suddenly differences in cultures will matter less and less until there are none.

I think there will always be some form of religion and hopefully all forms of cultures will be preserved. Good luck. 2D

God said, heaven and earth may pass but His Word would not. God's Word will be around forever and forever and forever. It has been already since the beginning. He always had someone declaring His Word. What makes any of us think that God will change His mind. Especially when God says, I am God and I do not change.
