You should definitely ask him out. I asked my husband out for our first date. He was the shy one and I knew he would never ask. I am so glad I did. After a year and a half of dating, I popped the question. We have been married for over 8 years now. Something just told me that I shouldn't let him get away. Take a chance.

wait! wait! if he said " he want to see what can happen with us" then let him make the first move. a week and half is not enough time (my opinion) I would give it 6 wks.

how about you call him today and talk to him a little...if he asks you out, then go...it sounds like a pretty good start...and don't be nervous, just be yourself...if he is worth the fight, he will do all he can to make you feel comfortable

Ask him if he wants to grab lunch/dinner or a movie. No harm done.
