go to craigslist.org and search for part time jobs or "gigs".
i don't work full time, i just do these "gigs". (they are temporary jobs that pretty much hire anyone on the spot).
some examples of jobs i've done:
photography (they trained and supplied camera)
hanging fliers (500 fliers, $.15/flier, 2 hours of work)
festival security
airport sign holder
PA for TV network (nb, espn, golf channel)
PA for local movies
greeter for a movie premier
movie extra
etc.
i work about 4 months out of the year doing random jobs and make as much as a full time employee making a decent living. i make a lot because a lot of employers tend to pay WAY more than they should because it's a temporary job and they have to make it worth it.
example: if you were hanging fliers for 2 hours at minimum wage you would make about $10 for all your work. that's not worth it. so the employer makes the job worth it by paying $.15/flyer and he gives you 500 fliers. it took me about 2 hours to hang all 500 on doors (i went to apartments first...more doors in a closer distant to each other than houses!!). so i made $75 in two hours. PLUS! this was tax free, i got cash. (they pay cash because it's usually illegal aliens or teenagers that take these jobs. i am neither, i just enjoy tax free jobs!!).
i should also mention i live in Austin, TX. all cities have different types of jobs. you should at least take a look!

This is the best batch of answers that I have seen yet on here. These guys are smart and intelligent. "Ricecat" Im a craigslist surfer and never have I went to "gigs". Thanks, you gave me a good idea being that i need a part time job. As for your question, FIRST, calm down take a deep breath, Think of the reasons why you got married, and to whom you got married......Now, think of your child or children.....This is your family, you shouldnt have to shower them with money and gifts to keep them happy, if you are a provider and you are doing what needs to be done and doing the best that you can, then give your self a break. Im a single mother and believe me I know what its like to have children and a man that does not take care of them. Everything was on me, (thats why im a single mother now). I believe you are a good hubby and a good Dad, dont be so hard on yourself. Most of all, pray. Prayer changes things, just try it if you have'nt. Things will get better, wait and see.

If you are staying home to earn money, and can do some sewing, or ironing, this can be a big help to many people. Also, you can offer to help senior citizens, by running errands, taking them to the doctors, pharmacy, etc. You'll have to up the car insurance for that. Call your local Senior Center, and see if they have any folks needing help or service. Not knowing what your location is the price you charge can be from 10.00-13.00 bucks an hour, for the errand running etc. Just some ideas. Otherwise, check out a local store, grocery, clothing, hardware, etc for jobs. Good Luck

You'll probably get a lot or answers for making money online.
Be very careful when looking for a work-at-home type of job online.
When you apply for a job offline, in the real world, do you have to pay anything to apply? Of course not. It should be the same online. If you are asked to pay any kind of fee, chances are 99.9% or more that it is a scam, or at a very minimum a home based business.
You are looking for a job, not a business, or at least it seems that way by your question.
I would suggest that if you are asked to pay anything, don't do it. Just keep looking.

So, get out there and look for one. Try and find one that is something you like.
I often suggest to people over 25 to look at winejobs.com. They have wholesale wine jobs all over the country and many are part time, with good pay.
Smaller companies like wholesalers are always looking for part time drivers, sales people, office workers etc.
