I love the link and for the guy above me, no it is not spam since it is an "educational" and free site, just as religioustolerance.org. This site just goes into a little more detail of our Pagan beliefs and those that have chosen another path of peace.
We are not "cults" and Paganism has been around before Christianity. Those of us that have decided we can believe how we wish in todays society and do not have to worry about what the "Jones' " are doing and having to keep up with them, we have decided to become more enlightened and to understand others beliefs making us more tolerant than the single Deity religions that have dominated and ruled society for the past 2 millenia. We also have jobs just like Chrisitians do. Some are doctors, lawyers, nurses, and the like. Most Pagans do not have "covens" or group rituals. Some do practice witchcraft but not the imagined evil stuff that the old Christian church in midevil times thought. Many are solitary and some do not honor a deity at all.
Earth based religions are becoming more popular all over the world and is one of the fastest growing belief systems in the US. Also, for those who want and insight into Paganism and Wicca another site you may want to check out is witchvox.com.
Thanks again for the nice link!

Christians consider anyone who is not a Christian a pagan. This is no way constitutes a belief in many gods (though some pagans do). There are in fact many Pagans who are pagans because they have never been presented with a reason to believe in even one god, let alone several. In that case, there is no link between nature and God. Nature is a wonderful thing which is all too fast disappearing. Like everything else, nature is governed by the laws of physics. The most reasonable explanation I've heard to explain thunder is it is caused by the rapid movement and heating of air as a result of lightning. I also think many Christians make the mistake of believing that pagans believe in multiple Gods with the the same blind faith and dedication that many Christians believe in a single god. My experience is that many pagans may talk about multiple gods, but the influence this has on their lives is similar to a Christian who talks about mother nature, santa clause or the tooth fairy.

Chances are a few people thought the site was inappropriate. Considering the sites deal with religion, it could have been anyone, but (I hate to say it) most likely a Christian of some sort. We tend to get offended easily -- well, some of us do, anyway -- when someone offers up information about a form of religion that goes "against the grain". I CAN tell you it wasn't I who reported you. I don't report anything on R&S. Too many people try to judge pagans as it is. I'm not one of them. I hope things clear up for you. I have been reported for a comment which was not in violation, myself. There are a lot of people being falsely reported and the way to get it "fixed" isn't as easy as it should be. I've found there is no cure once something you've written gets "removed". Which is sad. We shouldn't be able to be victimized by anyone here just as we are not supposed to attack others. You'd think Yahoo would go after the people who send in the false reports. But I haven't heard of one yet. Maybe someone here, reading this? You can add it to your answer and that way we'll all know whether people are being taken to task for reporting stuff that isn't against the guidelines. Thanks!

You have obviously offended the hard Christian right. Inviting people to consider an alternative philosphy? Whatever next?

Your experience, I'm afraid, is just another example of the greatest sin of all, which is ignorance, upon which most organised religions feed.

Remember, they did not get to be established religions without leaving a few bodies in their wake.

Try to appeal it. It sounds like a foolish violation.

Posting the same content again is, duh, another violation. Has it never occurred to you that people *hate* spammers? Or are you doing this on purpose, in order to bring disrepute to pagans?
