Your only supposed to have 44 grams of sugar a day for a 2200 cal diet. This is ridiculous because even if I ate nothing but fresh peaches I would still go over the limit. Each peach has 9 grams of sugar. If I ate 6 peaches in a day and nothing else, thats already 54 grams of sugar.

Not to mention I would only be eating 240 cal per day. 6 peaches times 98 grams equals about a pounds and a half. A pound and a half of food per day?

How am i supposed to eat a healthy diet?

The 44 grams of sugar a day is from added sugar, not natural sugars occuring in foods. Theres nothing wrong with eating as much fruit as you want!

Yea that kind of confused me too. Don't listen to it I say. Eat the recommended servings of fruit. Although it is possible to eat too much which can cause diarreah, most ppl don't even get the recommended amount so I dont think you have to worry about it. Fruit is not high in sugar but sugarss that are healthy. Just avoid anything that isn't 100% fruit sweetened because other sugars like actual white sugar and high fructose corn syrup is laden with chemicals and bleached and heated so high it is literally a dead food. Fruit is pure and gives you energy so eat as much as you can.

The natural sugar found in fruit is much better than the chemical sugars of corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup found in other stuff. That's the stuff I avoid like the plague.

although fructose is a form of sugar, it's good for you. that recommendation refers to cane or beet sugar. plus you should eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, not one fruit alone. eat a well balanced diet with proper portions, drink plenty of water, and get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day to maintain good health.

Everyhting in moderation is what is correct.
5 fruit and veg per day is correct
