Allie was a really fuzzy little kitten. As she's grown, her hair is on the shorter side. It's really silky and soft and is longer on her back. I have seen pictures of cats whose hair didn't fully come in till they were 2-3 years old. This is her. She's older in the bottom pics. Long or short haired? What do you think she might be? http://www.catster.com/cats/626945

This is the cat who got me wondering. He looks almost identical to her at the same age.

I have two kittens Giblet and Gravy. They are from different litters, same parents. They both looked just like yours when I first got them. Giblet just turned one year old and she had a few long hairs here and there as a kitten, now she has a beautiful tail plume and long hair on her belly. Gravy is about six months old and he has medium long hair I don't think his will be quite as long as hers but it is close.

Now your beautiful little kitten looks to me like she will be medium to long haired. I could see a few long hairs on yours like my Gibby.

Your cat will be considered a long haired cat even if it isn't long all over. Maine Coons are a long hair cat with what is called a shaggy coat. They have long hair on their tail, around their ruff, on their belly and their back legs but their back and fron legs will stay fairly short. Your cat may have some Maine Coon in her. Look that breed up on the internet and see what you think. They come in many many colors too!

My cat Rufus looked just like your Allie when she was young and as she grew her hair stayed about medium length and her tail had longer hair. Allie is very cute, I would say medium-long hair.

So cute! My sister's kitten looked like yours, and her hair tturned out to be more of a medium-length. She is a farm cat of no distinct breed, but very pretty.

properly of course, this is basically the interior that counts. yet, I choose a guy with short hair so he would not appear like a female. The Exception- the nice and snug blonde guy from that state farm commercial.
