I went out with this girl for 2 1/2 years and im still madly in love with her. We broke up 3 weeks ago and I cant even look at another girl without thinking of her. How long should i wait, i know it's because were young and we need to see what else is out there but i know she is the only one for me. Her smile makes me see clearer, i feel so lonely.

The solution to your dilemma is simple. Teach yourself to cope. Surely, she's not the greatest girl you'll ever meet. You've got to exert that conscious effort to move on. No calling. No texting. No emailing. No seeing each other. Moving on may seem to be such an impossibility now because the wound is still fresh, but trust me, you'll get over her and find new and true love if you have enough courage to get past this emotional disaster. You can do it!

She wasn't the girl of your dreams, if she hurt you....sorry that happened, but it takes time to mend a broken heart, and rushing into another relationship so soon, will just end up messed up too....because you really are just looking for something to fill the void. Why not explore yourself!!! (...not meant in a dirty way!) Take some classes, travel, work out at a health club, write a great American novel....people are always under the impression that we need a mate to make it thru life! Well, we do just fine by ourselves! Then you can clear your head, and who knows maybe the real love of your life is waiting out there, at your new exploration!!! Good luck!

Get busy with yourself and don't worry about meeting someone new.
If you do this you will be a better person when the next one comes along and the old one will not look so good.
So, find a new hobby, start a new exercize regime, change your lifestyle to a healthier one, go back to school, etc. Things that will make you happier with yourself.
The best way to get over something is to replace it with something better. You making a better life for yourself is the best replacement there is.

How old are you? email me direct. Also real love never dies. So if you truly love her she will always be in your heart. Now remember this, because you love her doesn't mean it's ethical to love you back. Unfortunately in the game of love, nothing is fair. but i tell you what, read about twinflames and soulmates and your higherself. it will help you okay. trust me. i understand so many things for reading these topics.

theres a reason why you broke up . ever heard "everything happens for a reason?" im sure you have . well you just gotta accept and live on for that reason.

meanwhile, erase her from your speeddial.. etc.. get rid of her pics etc.. if youre not ready for that then at least put it all in a box and put it away somewhere like the attic. also, keep busy. do what you love, and if you get those "AIR? THATS WHAT ME AND ___ BREATHED" type of thoughts, take a deep breath and just suck it up and get over it.

happens to most people. youll be fine

dude just move on, don't dwell on just one chick or she will ruin you! once she knows that you can't function without her she will walk all over you!! my advise is to go on a month or ten of man whoreism...lol, just go rack up your numbers with as many randon women as you can. chances are that during this time you'll find one that is dirty enough to make you forget all about whats her name and move on.
