I'm sending out baby shower invitations this week. Is it tacky to print clear labels with the addresses, or should i handwrite them? I don't have very nice handwriting, and I know there is an etiquitte controversy here. I did the proper addressing for my wedding invitations (label on the outside, handwritten on the inside). Now I'm planning a shower for my sister, and I'm not sure what to do.

I wouldn't worry about being to formal....just make sure everyone's names are spelled right and don't forget anyone. That is the hardest part! Have a great time!

a guiding principle---communicate over with a minimum of considered one of your reliable acquaintances approximately web hosting a bathtub for you. That way if could be at another region than the place you reside, lowering the drop in ingredient. maximum persons understand that somewhat one bathe is alcohol loose. The mom to be should not be eating so the visitors do no longer in many cases partake the two. deliver out a series form of invites and don't submit an open journey on fb. this way basically the persons who're invited will comprehend whilst that's being held. If this is no longer available to have a pal do the web hosting and you will do it your self--the invites could desire to basically settle for to those people you extremely choose on the bathe.

The labels will be fine the invitation is more important then the envelope so i would print the labels for the envelope and spend time on the invite

Labels are fine. Most people are not concerned with how the outside envelope is addressed and if you have poor penmanship I'm sure that the post office will appreciate the typed label.

I don't think that baby shower invitations have to be formal. Print your labels if you want. If it looks better and the post office can read it, that's all that matters.

I don't see why you can't print the labels! I don't think it really matters.

I would ask your sister first what she would like..if you can..but i don't see it being a big deal. Saving your hand from cramps and such...lol.
but if your sister wants them hand written get some of her other friends to help you!
