Just try and remember that nothing ever stays the same everything always changes as bad as things seem or are right now eventually they will change. You have to remember that and for all the bad we go through it life it only helps us to be stronger people because if our lives were all good then how would we be able to appreciate the good times if we never experienced the bad also we could never pass on or help anyone if we never experienced anything you just might have children one day or maybe even have them now and they might benefit from these experiences. So hold on and know that you can and will be happy. The sun will shine again for you. Good luck.

I'm not sure of your geographical location or details of your issues but these great people are there for you, regardless..... http://www.beyondblue.org.au There is a 'Helping Yourself' section in the Depression menu. Gee, we could all take note from the tips there !
Otherwise there are Help/Information Lines if you are in Australia:
beyondblue info line (National) - 1300 22 4636
Lifeline (National) - 13 11 14
Just Ask Rural Mental Health Information & Referral Line (National) - 1300 13 11 14
SANE Australia Helpline (National) - 1800 187 263
Suicide Helpline (VIC) - 1300 651 251
Mensline Australia (National) - 1300 789 978
Australian Psychological Society Referral Line (National) 1800 333 497
Mental Health Information Service (NSW) - 1800 674 200
Kids Helpline (National) - 1800 551 800.
Salvation Army - google for your local office.
But to cut to the chase:
keep your eyes & ears open...take a step back & observe others. Emotions from family issues can be heightened & cloud your vision. Only do what feels right for your gut BUT don't be afraid to backdown & find common ground if the circumstances require. Self-respect & Dignity are the most important assets you can have in life...this will lead you to a fuller life of no regrets.
best wishes.

I don't know why you are sad with your family and the problems that you are having ,but people don't know that there feelings can lie to them so put them aside and then you can think clear about what is making you so sad in the first place. Then you can deal with them and the feeling that you have being so sad will go away. It sounds silly but it dose work I know it dose because I have to do it all the time my self, because if you don't it can make you real sick because it can and will do you more harm than good. You need to always take control of your feelings so they do not control your life any more.

I'm not sure what would make you happy but remember that things usually get better. Take your problems one at a time and try to find solutions for them or ways to cope. When you put them all together they seem pretty overwhelming but individually there is a way to work through them. In the meantime, get out and get some exercise and eat good food. You will feel better when those endorphins kick in.

I have problems with my family too. But dont give up. Try to find sth that you like to do, (dont tell me there is nothing) do it and even you dont feel happy right know, you will get better. Remember that it's not worth to spend your life like this. Talk to some friends, and if you dont have one (cause I didnt) try to make some. Of course, it's not easy, it is very hard but you must try to make things happen.Remember that everything is on your mind and only you have the chance and the power to change it. You are strong, but you dont know it yet. well. it is time for you to find it out! Good Luck!!

If you want to be happy focus on the things that are going to guarantee a good life for you.
Schooling, career, hobbies, etc. It sounds like a standard answer but the more you work toward a goal for yourself - and start to reach that goal - the more your life will look good and you will be happier.
You'll be happier because you're taking control of your life and you know that you can make it whatever you want it to be - which, at this point, is happy.

Well bright side---
Not knowing YOU, nor the circumstances you are dealing with, makes it extremely difficult to map out anything specific FOR you ! You might consider tapping out some details so that later arriving responders have something solid on which to base a view --- otherwise, we are left to give you the "generalized" "theme" response of...... things will get better.....wish you the best...... "hang in there" --etc etc !!
Give this crew something to bite into here -- you'll get your "wise-butts" for sure -- but, you just might get someone who has been exactly where you are that can tell you of a way out !!
So, with that said ----
It will get better
wish you the best
hang in there
Good Luck !!!!

All you need is love....... take a holiday, go out and find love (bars, disco's, dances etc), drink a little, get laid (use contraception), really let go and fall in love for that week/fortnight, come home with a smile on your face, don't tell a sole ...... everybody will want to know what your secret is for happiness!
