Marijuana is a plant that has some interesting effects when ingested. Plain and simple. Some people like it, some people don't, some have never tried it and never will. Some simply buy whatever the zealots for their chosen side state as being fact, whether for or against it. Some have been helped by its therapeutic properties, some have been hurt by their inability to moderate its use. Most who have tried it or used it even on a regular basis have had no ill effects. This sounds no different than the vast majority of other substances (not just drugs) that can be consumed in some way or another. The world is way too complex to simply lump everything in "good" vs. "evil" categories. There happens to be a huge gray area where these labels simply do not apply.

God created it, not Satan. The problem is that people let Satan tempt and teach us how to abuse it! If we had learned medicine's lessons of late concerning marijuana several decades ago, I think there would be a lot more understanding concerning it's regulation and use! I'm reminded of a story I heard a long time ago about a minister who grew tobacco! Everyone was SHOCKED to hear that a man who preached about the evils of smoking and chewing would PARTAKE of it! But the preacher showed them something interesting at his home. He took some of his tobacco and crushed it up until the juices started running out of the leaves. He then stuffed them inside a spray bottle, mixed in some water and sprayed it on his rose bushes! He said that the tobacco juice was the best insect repellent he'd ever seen! He found an alternative use for it that DIDN'T harm the body because it wasn't used BY the body! If there were better understanding, who knows where we'd be today where certain "taboo" things are concerned?

It is the Devil's weed ONLY if the Devil made the world. In history, it became the natural scapegoat after Prohibition was repealed--the massive enforcement machinery had to do something or else lose their jobs. No Libertarians back then; it was all about keeping the machinery running and money coming in to the government agency that had its windfall with Prohibition. So, where IS this Devil?

Well I don't believe in the devil but Marijuana is really bad news it is linked to psychoses and is even worse than tobacco for your heart and lungs. Apart from certain limited medical uses it is a menace.

No, it has helped many people undergoing treatment for cancer.
If it's used that way, it's a God send.
