Because when God created the universe (Big Bang) and all the laws of science including evolution he let the universe grow for 15 million years and let all things multiply, such as billions and billions of stars and as many beetles as did.

He didn't he only created three but once Eve bit into that apple the three original species started sinning and cross sinning and they created 350,000 different species over time. I think that answer should satisfy the creationsists and evolutionists both.

A) There's only 54,000 known to science as yet.

B) He didn't do the creating in propria persona. What He DID do was set up the Laws of Physics, say, "Let there be light" and caused the Big Bang, then allowed everything to do its own schtick according to those Laws.

GOD could create science and nature without being personally responsible for every individual thunderstorm.

I think he knew a band named The Beetles were going to be famous in this world and he became a fan before they even came out.

Because he wanted to? Also, if God could create the earth, creating beetles isn't really much of an effort for him is it?

God loves variety, and hates uniformity. Even among one of those species of beetle, there are no two exactly alike. Even among one family, mom, dad and child, among those beetles, there are no two alike.

Cos He loves variety and some of them are really pretty. Perhaps it might also be up to us to find out. How many plants and animals have been discovered to have properties that can be applied in medicine?
