God does not care for your benevolance any more than he cares about the lack of it in others. Do you rekon this is true?

The most preposterous notion that H. Sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, without a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expenses of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all of history.

I don't particularly believe that God intervenes in human events--any benevolent acts that I perform are done out of gratitude for the good life that I have (which I do believe was made possible by God) and my respect for other human beings as my brothers and sisters. I don't see God as an old bearded man sitting on a cloud saying "Be nice or else!"

I find myself pasting this scripture alot here in R&S because peeps seem to have such a keen misunderstanding of what GOD proclaims as benevolence as compared with what people have built religion to be. Yet, it is strait forward and simple to the core...

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Jesus said if you love Me you will keep My commandments...the whole law is based on these two fundamental noble laws...First love God then each other. If there is need found in someone and you can meet it and don't...then you are not loving God and you are not loving your fellow man. This is all through the Bible as these two laws were first spoken in Lev and Deut. All the noble laws had their beginning in the Old Testament passages just as Gods grace was there too. Cares that we are benevolent to one another...He has given us much, and to whom much is given, much is required. Can't get much plainer than that. Love in Christ, ~J~

My answer is not direct. It is contemplative lead... I am doing this because the greatest mystery that can be discovered about God is His love. Understanding God's love enable us to understand Man's potential.

1.God is an empowering God.

2. God's faith in man is greater than our faith in Him.

God Bless

No. God does want us to do good for others. The facts that God causes the sun to shine on the just as well as the unjust, and that evil people often do prosper, are not indications that He does not exist or does not care.

God cares about everyone, especially those who are benevolent

If you believe in the concept of Heaven & Hell, and that people who did good in their lives will be rewarded with Heaven, then I don't see how God would not care about the good you did and the lack of good in others.

If you don't believe in it, however, then it hardly matters, does it? :O)

I can only share the Bible's POV.
"Throw all your anxiety upon Him, because he cares for you."

God is love.

If love is in me I will be happy the way God cherish those who lacks love.

Not if you believe in an all loving God who cares about every aspect of our lives from the cradle to the Grave. If he were otherwise then he wouldn`t be all loving, would he ?.
