Finger push ups to strengthen your tips.

Use finger jabs for better accuracy and speed.

Hang a small hoop and practice thrusting through it accurately without losing your balance. Increase the difficulty by swinging the hoop, working in tandem with your footwork.

Same way you train for inflicting jabs with pinpoint accuracy on your opponent. Proper footwork is usually the key. I would think twice about using throat strikes in fights though as this could lead to death and a possible criminal prosecution for you. A choke hold would probably be a better alternative if you wanna target the throat, since it gives you better control.

what judo mofo meant.. was... it isnt a realistic target....I mean noone is going to lean their head back and say hit me here... saying that... I learned to break a board with my finger tips, and the "idea" that you can puncture the throat just below the adams apple seems possible... geez why ever do it? if you can land that technique on you opponent, you obviously dont need to go to that extreme, just ***** slap em and walk away while they are crying for their mommy.... but for every technique, repetition is the key to improving it is amazing how you can adapt you body to do things.. broke my middle knuckle on my right hand many times, just for the fun of breaking more boards

Look up your closest MMA school.

Tell them you want to train throat strikes with resistance.

Have them put on 4oz gloves, you wear a cup and a mouthpiece.

Tell them you want to go at full speed and full intensity.

Then let the healing begin...

Use targets.
Im sure you know that this technique should only be used if you feel your in serious danger because the move itself has devistating consequences.

Practice.

I doubt you'd find anybody willing to be a target for practice though.

good luck!
