I want to put pink and purple manic panic dye on my hair.
Unfortunately, that means I'll have to bleach it first.
I'm really afraid that I might fry my hair because it was dyed black about a year ago.
It's faded a LOT since then, now its brown with some blonde streaks showing through [my natural color].
What do you suggest? o.o

Please don't do this yourself. Go to a professional and have them do it

I would go to a pro to do this.

It would probably survive the bleach if done professionally.

I had a friend that put semi permanent black dye in his blond hair for a costume. It didn't wash out. He had a pro bleach his hair back, and his hair was fine.

Dyed hair of any color must not be bleached or lightened. You could do that to natural hair, but not dyed. this is what my hairdresser says.

you are going to mess it up. fried broken hair and a burnt scalp. go to a professional. if you don't do this i would recommend having a wig shop on speed dial.

If I were you I would let a professional do it, that way if you mess it up you won't have to go find someone to fix it..if they mess it up, they have to fix it...good luck
