Hi there.
Sunday school was quite well pitched and yes, I believed it. Any child being told something by adults will believe it, anybody claiming some special power to resist is either a hyper-genius, psychopath or just kidding themselves.
Church made no sense at all, it is very much for adults.
I still do believe and I still go to church.
cheers, Steve.

Yes and no. I believed it until I came of an age to realize that what was being taught juss didn't add up. So I forsook (strange word) what was taught to me as a pack of lies and read the Bible on my own...for 11 years I have found nothing but the very truth that cannot be the invention of any man there in the pages of that sacred writing and now all my questions have been answered and I realize why people fall away. You can't lean on your own understanding why could a person lean on someone elses? God provided a way for us all to rely on Him and His Word and to give that truth to others in its most rudamentory truths as a seed to be planted which when pursued to its fullest extint leads to an attainable understanding. Still, the Gospel is what saves...the entirety of the Bible is what keeps one in Him. Now I believe and yet, it was that seed planted along time ago that lead me to this current condition. I wouldn't change it ever. I just wish there were more promotion of the Word of God rather than the words of man based on what is percieved to be the Word of God. Love in Christ, ~J~

believe all yes, understand all no. That is why I ask the pastor millions of questions, which in turn shows me that he knows what he is talking about. If you ask a pastor or whatever you call your "preacher" and they can't answer you (doesn't have to be on the spot) than there is something wrong. Like right now being on this website help me learn more about all other religions. So I like to compare with there thoughts and what I am tought. Than take those two teachings and see which is right and which is wrong.

Sunday School was a great comfort to me as a child. We had kind, caring teachers who explained the stories of the Bible on our level. We often made crafts to illustrate the stories. It was a sweet, innocent time.

I didn't really believe it, but I did pay attention.
I understood most of it. The only parts I didn't get were, "The dinosaurs were too big to fit on the ark." and "No one will die before hearing about Jesus."

I believed nothing of it, was appalled by all the violent stories and images and remained an atheist, as I was since birth.

No. It wasn't til I was older as a teen I began to search God. But I'm still glad I was exposed to it as a little girl
