Not blue, brown or green, but totally black. Does this mean anything? Is it rare?

No it's not unusual, as inhabitants indigenous to Africa, Asia, and the Americas generally have brown eyes, and very dark brown irises can appear to be black.

i dont know how common it is-but my lil boy has BLACK eyes! my father is half cherokee but i dont see how my boy came out with black eyes as opposed to brown-but whatever! anyway he has the most beautifully intriguing eyes you'll ever want to see.(im super white too-my mom is irish-i have blue eyes-very blue and my husband's are brown-and yes he is my baby's daddy!LOL!)
