What I am asking is that when they see genocide, war, drugs, or poverty, they are more likely to accuse God as being the cause of these things, rather than asking why humanity is so sadistic to begin with.

nondescript your an idiot because the reason why i posted it is because of the attitude that its gods fault for everything. It is a psychological question based on what you have just stated. It is an oxymoron yes, but people believe this way and I think they are idiots. Your not very smart are you?

No, atheists do not blame God,as we do not believe in any. We blame people who claim to be acting on their God's behalf.

There is a very real difference.

A why is so much of humanity of sadistic in the NAME OF GOD?

Perhaps those who accuse a non-existent God of being the cause of these things do so because they find it easier than admitting that, at least in some small way, every one of us are responsible for how sadistic this world has become.

Do you understand that people often ask rhetorical questions.

Here for an example. When an actress praises God for winning an Oscar, should all the other actresses realise that God did not enjoy their performances.
When God cures a cancer patient isn't it obvious that he killed all the other ones.

It is meant to point out that such claims of Gods mercy are totally ridiculous.
God(s) do not exist, my friend.

Ignorance, stupidity and pure malice are more than enough to explain 99% of our misfortunes and stupid dumb bad luck covers the rest quite generously.

That doesn't make any sense. For one, you can't blame god for the negative aspects of life if you don't believe in him. Secondly, if he created humans then he is responsible for all of our actions. He should not have created such faulty humans.

I do bring these things up to prove a point to Christians. They are quick to thank god for sunshine and all the beauty of the world, but refuse to see the other side. Either he is responsible for everything or nothing. You cannot have it both ways.

I don't accuse god, how can i accuse something i don't believe in? I just sometimes bring those references to show that if there were a god this type of things won't happen.

I make no accusations.
I cannot blame something ,
that in my opinion does not exist.
It would be the same thing,
if I stubbed my toe on the tree
outside my house and blamed
the invisible flying giraffes for it.
Sounds rather silly, doesn't it.

I don't accuse God. Like the previous answerer said, He doesn't exist (for me at least). I blame religion. That definitely exists. Anything that can cause feelings as strong as religion or caste just cannot be good.

As atheists don't believe in god why would try and blame him for anything

I totally agree.

People should NOT blame god for all the negative things in their lives just like they should thank god for all the positive things either.
