no, you have to search for the true one, because Christ stated that there is only one church and he describe it as i his body and Christ is the head. well its common for humans to have one body and one head. therefore there is only one true church. and its a good thing you ask, on behalf of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), we are inviting you in our nearest locale to observe and study our doctrines. you can start here(click source).

Not all Christians do this. As somebody who used to follow that philosophy, I may be able to give you an answer, though. I would say those exact things because of all the differences I'd find in churches I'd go to. I'd become so frustrated with trying to figure out what I was "supposed" to believe, I finally gave up. I grabbed my Bible and started reading. I do have a personal relationship with Jesus, and through the Bible I learned the way He wanted me to live. Therefore, I didn't identify myself with any certain denomination of Christianity. I simply lived as the Bible told me I should.

It could, if that all it matters to you.

You don't have to choose anything - especially if you don't want to. If you do not feel the need, then leave it alone! There is probably something that 'religion' can do to make you feel good about things - or feel like you are a part of things, but what for? What will it do for you? Especially if you have no desire to know God? So if you are not even desirous to know God, why waste your time fooling yourself into thinking that you have to join a religion?

Why not take up kite flying, or pizza making, or reading novels (or whatever)? Why waste your life doing things that you really have no desire doing?

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Anything else...is just a social club. Love in Christ, ~J~

i think you're sort of unchoose a religion. most people are born into some sort of religious environment and grow up in it, not really questioning if it's good or bad.
the hard part is unchoosing it and either staying with none or ... being chosen by another.

That's a point that I've always wondered and that's an intelligent thought. I consider myself an atheist but my mom is a Catholic so I do go to church. I think it because most people believe what their parents think. Some people believe something just because someone told them about it.
