There is no evidence that the phytoestrogen in soy will feminize men if they don't already have hormone deficiencies.

1. Why is China the most populated country in the world? They have been using soy products longer than anyone else.

2. Why doesn't soy milk have a label that reads: "Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that soy products can cause men to be gay and grow man boobs." If it was a serious problem it would be done. When an artificial sweetener is found to cause cancer, it's taken off the market. Why don't they take soy off the market if it's so dangerous?

3. I have been eating large amounts of soy for 30 years or so, and I can say all my parts are still in excellent working order. If I was so feminine, at least I would still have hair on my head.

4. There is misinformation about food in the media all the time; it's no wonder people get confused. Some corporations may deliberately distort statistics for their own purposes. The anti soy propaganda may be funded by the meat industry, for example.

It has phytoestrogens in it, which are estrogen analogues.

I try to have as little soy as possible, it also has a few other bad things in it.

A lot of soy milk is pretty processed too. I try to eat whole foods and stay away from processed things.

Theres nothing in soy that cant be found from safer whole food alternatives, i dont think the risk is worth it.

Japanese people have been drinking soy milk for ages and nothing bad has happened to them yet. Japanese people tend to live longer and are less bulky than Americans; of course, this it isn't just because of the soy milk, but I do think it's a factor.

All soy products have natural plant estrogens, as do some soaps and lotions containing lavender and tea tree oils, but you would have to use a large amount of these products daily to build a high enough blood level to cause problems.
I guess if your breasts start to grow, you should stop using them!

Yes, soy is some scary stuff. Mass produced dairy isn't much better. Can you get raw, unhomogenized milk where you live? If not cow, perhaps goat. Or maybe something like the rice or almond "milks". They're not terribly healthy as far as being too sugary, but they make okay pancakes or cereal, etc.

Yes but not enough to cause damage. I would put a limit on my daily consumption of soy products if I was you.

I've read that it's true. My boyfriend drinks a lot of it every day, and he's very healthy.

Useless info: I read that because of this women who are vegans or who consume a lot of soy are much more likely to conceive girls than non-veg women.

Sorry, just thought it was interesting.
