It's all about quality of life. It may be someone's dream to live "off-grid" and save money growing own vegetables, etc; however, if they are doing all the work required to do that, they don't have time for a job to earn money for the vacations they plan to take with the money saved by not buying groceries or paying for electricity. The farmers in this country are having a hard time financially.
I would like to be able to grow own vegetables, to avoid eating all the pesticides and antibiotics, steroids and who knows what. These things have contributed to the health problems Americans are experiencing, as well as obesity. We eat tainted food, get sick, take medications that cause weight gain and other side effects. A lot of people have allergies and allergy meds are known to cause weight gain.
There is a consequence to every action. Do we want to go back to the 1940s or 1950s before technology and chemical companies came up with products to use on cattle, chickens, crops, etc? Farmers use steroids to fatten the stock to get a better price at market. Everything goes in a circle and affects everyone else. Now we pay more money to buy "organic" (natural) foods!
So much for progress! So, back to the question - YES helping to improve the environment (rid it of chemicals in land and air and water) will improve the quality of life for everyone. Less cost for product, less sickness, less cost for healthcare and meds (too bad for the pharmaceutical companies!), people will feel better when they can eat better, healthier, products and breathe clean air. What is that worth? Is it worth separating the cans and plastic bottles into a separate container? YES! Is it worth driving less? Is it worth finding alternative methods of generating electricity, fueling vehicles, powering manufacturing plants? YES Is it worth enforcing the laws already on the books, to make companies clean up what they dump in the water supply or into the air? YES! Everyone needs needs to do their part.

The are ways to live that not only help the environment but, benefits our health & finances. My perfect home would be an off grid home, no electric, gas, or water bill to pay at all. I would have a really good size garden & can allot of my fruits & vegetables to last me throughout the year. I would have a good size pond in my back yard stocked full of fish to catch for fun & eat as well. Kind of a mini farm, some chickens, goats, and a few dairy cows. I know this sounds like a dream but, if you did have all of this how much less do you think you would spend at the grocery store? Solar & wind for electric, & a natural spring or well for water. The home would be built with geo-thermal heat as well. It may cost more initially to get it started but, in the long run when your friends are going broke you could be taking several vacations a year on what you would save. Not only are you saving cash but, eating better,& being more healthy as well.
P.S. Some may not like eating goat meat but, if you are one that doesn't you can think of them as a self sufficient lawnmower that gives milk.

clean up the rubbish
in the yard and the parks
Instead of driving your vehicle to small distance
places either walk or bike to your destination.

I think so.
Take Recycling it cut down own make our world like a trash dump, which takes many years for things to decompose.
and some of the stuff that we recycle are danger to our and animal. those are 6pk beer or soda rings which animals can get stuck, plastic bags and balloons pieces get into our open water and the animals thinks its food specially our sea turtles. and many more.
Poplution is another it would cause less breathing problems.
If we started to recycle and told others this planet would be a cleaner place which would help us all

Yes. If we all do our bit to sustain the current environmental status we can look after generations to come and make sure that unwanted problems do not arise.

Think of it as your bedroom. If you keep it clean, don't clutter, don't dump oil and chemicals all over, wouldn't you live better.
