2 months ago out of no where i just lost consciousness, doctors swear i fainted from getting up too fast however I had gotten out of bed 20 minutes prior, got dressed had a bite to eat got a drink of water went outside!!
I NEVER had blood pressure issues before then just now and consistently I have a high reading, if anyone knows a possible reason why I would love to listen.

Ok so I went back to my doctor as he suggested and he did not want to do anything further.
Said there was nothing he could do and just take a walk everyday and stay on the blood pressure meds.
However, The migraine I have had for 6 days now and NOT subsided and NOTHING is getting rid of it. The doctor did not seem to care that it is getting in the way of my everday life.
I have a job i need mental clarity for and with a migraine i am just off in another world in pain. I love my job but cant do it and he did not seem alarmed by this.
just told me to take a few days off and I am not sure what world he lives in but I work to support my family and i am struggling to get out of bed everyday.
I don't know what to do :(

Ok, firstly, find a dr. who is going to take all your symptoms more seriously and not dismiss them, as this one seems to be doing. Most of these answers are correct, but 22 is rather young to have such high blood pressure. While stress, anxiety, poor diet and not enough exercise can certainly contribute to high blood pressure, it can also be caused by a narrowing of the arteries that lead to your kidneys. You need a more thorough work up, and you need something for your migraine. You shouldn't be suffering for six days with a migraine headache. Good luck to you, I'm sure you'll be fine once you find a better doctor.

Family medical history has as much to do with hypertension as diet/lifestyle. Do either or both of your parents or grandparents have it? If so, you are pre-disposed to get it as well, even though you are rather young for it to show up.
Getting on meds early is good because untreated hypertension causes multiple problems later on in life. Other than a few diet changes though, there isn't a whole lot you can do to lower it. Decrease sodium intake and caffeine consumption and take garlic supplements - exercise and don't smoke.

Stress can be a cause for starters. Check your blood pressure regularly. Watch your salt intake,it is recommended to limit it to 6grams a day. So watch the labels.
Do you exercise? Find out about that . I mean, what is recommended for a girl your age. The list is endless.
But remember one thing, that no mather what we answer here should not be guidelines to you. I would advise you to speak with somebody competent, like doctor.
Because your higher blood pressure can be interpreted in so many ways it is a delicate question to answer.

Part of it could be (White coat syndrome)
Anticipation that it will be high, And they might need to check you kidney function. To see if everything is alright there. have you been eating a lot of processed food , TV dinners, can soups, Crackers, potato chips , or other highly salted food? These can be a problem.
