Why are you here on this earth if you dont have anyone to answer to for youre deeds? Why is it that if youre destined to go to heaven no matter what you do in this life, that you care to be moralistic? If living in the way of jesus just means accepting hes god and he loves you and he died to save you then not following in his footsteps of moral conduct means you can still go to heaven right, then this life isn't even a test for you right?? so we could all convert to Christianity and then do whatever chaos in the world that we want and still go to heaven, correct? Where is the motivation for being a good moral person with the best behaviour in ChristianitY? I dont want to sound offensive and im sorry if i do.

Catholic Crusader, HUH!!! to me it sounds like GOD NEEEDED to convert every person on earth to Chritianity("To accomplish this"), as if he was to weak to create ppl who would "unite into his family, the church" "So that this call should resound throughout the world" Thats the purpose of creating ppl? to resound gods message to them?? IF hes really the god you say he is, wouldnt he just show up in front of us in his true form and say, im god. even if he did, now what. okay youre god, what do you want me to do now?? i think this world has nothing to do with spreading the message of chritianity, Cuz God wouldve just told him ourselves, no need to create the heavens the earth and hell..if he wanted eveeryone to be christian, then he wouldnt create non christian ppl!! again the way i see it, christians have no purpose in this world!! ( no i dont mean they all should be killed i mean that they have no real goals that agree with their beliefs!)

Salvation is a gift that is available to all but must be worked toward...
Okay see thats what i was looking for, if we must work for it, then not all Christians will go to heaven yes? Then why did jesus come down and die if we are indeed answerable for our deeds and must do good to get into heaven?

Christ died on the Cross to save from FROM sin, not free me to sin.
So by jesus dying on the cross and going to hell for three days he stopped christians from committing sins, not freeing them of accountability of it? So Christians are stopped from commiting sins by jesus dying, im taking that to mean christians CANT commit certain sins because jesus died for them?

if we are truly born again believers strive to live every day to please Him.
so if we were good in this world, and deserve heaven then well be born believers and we shall strive in heaven to make god happy with us? we shall please him in the NEXT world? okay im a bit confused, isnt heaven supposed to be a place of relaxation, where we dont have to worry about anything anymore, why would we do hard work to please god there? thats not relaxing and having fun...thats a poor reward for doing good in this world, if we do good in this world then we GET to strive to please him in the next?
okay say im totally confused and we are to strive to please him in this world.. then where is the book that tells me exactly how to act to please him? in the bible (im not very educated about the bible yet-cant blame a 16 yr old can you?) does it mention exactly which acts would please god,and how to live life? does it go into every minor detail such as how to put on your shoes to how to run a government

We should be doing good things as a "proof" of our reaction to God's mercy and forgiveness,
again, where in the bible is there verses about how to please god, and how to live youre life...In the Quran there are hundreds of references on not to ever lie steel cheat and other sins, as well as TOoo pray, TOooo give money to the needy, TOoo fast, TOoo perform hajj!! these are all things god wants us toooo do. that he demands us tooo do. Is there anything in the bible that says you have tooo do something in order for gods pleasure? there are things , but are there things that are mandatory?

in islam the only reason we are here on this earth is to see how we behave. do we have morals and are we the best person we can be? We are to be the modl humans. and example of the world to follow. forget about islam for a sec. think, if theres someone in youre school who is just amazing at sports academics and has the most perfect behavior. he/she has never told a lie, never done anything wrong and lived for the pure sake of morals, would you no feel inclined to follow? for muslims we are that person, and by doing so we are being muslims, people who achieve PEACE by being the most well behaved people of the world. we abstain from that which is wrong and stick with that which is good, which is outlined form every little thing to every big aspect in the quran and sunnah. if we stop ourselves form the temptations of this world, if we do our best to avoid following " live our life out to the fullest" and struggle to keep ourselves ppl with good character(ie, jihad) then we can get Janna

Because God wants us to be his messengers, to be light in the darkness, to bring others back to his loving embrace.
urggG!!! why didnt he put people into his loving embrace from day 1!!!! why does he need christians to do it for him? yet again, i see no purpose in youre life!! if god wanted all people to be christian, he wouldve created all people christian!! By saying he had to create you, die for you, and go to hell for you, just so that you can be his messengers for people he created as nonbelievers, is saying that hes to weak to tell the nonbelievers himself!! WE muslims have a purpose in being the best charactered people on earth. Doesnt that make more sense and create more clarity than being created to tell people god exists when he is god and couldve done that without youre help?

"Love God with all your heart and mind" & "Love your neighbour as yourself". Do you really need to be told how to treat other people as you would like to be treated?
So what happens if youre the only good person in a community. Where does christianity stop steeling in a society? There are no laws that can stop a society from becoming corrupt and taking youre rights. It may be mentioned in the bible, dont steel, dont hurt other people, but is there an established law, that give you youre rights and freedom? Is there a capital punishment for it in the bibile? There is in islam. its called the sharia. Its only purpose is to stop all things that could make a society corrupt such as steeling. why do you think it has such harsh policies? because its cruel and fun? no, its to scare ppl so that they wouldnt steel themselves. if you know youre hands going to but chopped off for steeling would you steel? how would "Love your neighbor" play in to this? would you let someone steel from you?

The one and only goal is to know the God who created us.
okay, everything that you guys are saying does indeed seem legible, and so my comments on them are like you said a result of my erroneous beliefs which i am trying to eradicate.
so if you say that getting to know god is youre goal, then god created people so that they could get to know him? if he wanted his creations to acknowlege him, again, why wouldnt he just show up in front of us? why are we on the earth, and not infront of him? okay heres a better question, what purpose does god serve in creating you? so that you can find out that hes god?
Worshiping God is the process of coming to know God.
and do we get good deeds for worshipping and bad deeds for commiting sin, even if we know god exists? is i just that in this world if we as a christian kill someone, rob his family of him, but still go to heaven because jesus died for him and spent 3 days in hell so that he wouldnt have to pay for his crime?

I am here on Earth to praise and worship God!
I have God to answer to...
I was going to answer all of your questions in order, but then as I read further, I realized that you need to do more research.
Christianity is not about being forgiven of any and every sin that you commit. When you commit a sin, you must go before God with repentance. ... and if you are hearnest and sincere, then God will forgive. God knows our hearts and our intentions. If I commit a sin and I say sorry, then do the same thing again... my repentance is not sincere and I don not beleive that my sins are forgiven!
Salvation is a gift that is available to all but must be worked toward...

Because you have so many erroneous ideas (no offense), I think I should just explain afresh what Christianity is.
The Christian idea is that God has created us and has invited us to be His sons and daughters. If we accept, He proposes to change who we are; our very being. We are to be united with Him in a supernatural communion (or fellowship). We will no longer be people who want to do evil.
If we say to ourselves that we will just say we are converted to Christianity in order to fool God, then God, who knows us better than we know ourselves, is going to see right through that little ploy.
In the Christian doctrine, morality is almost a byproduct of being a changed person. Morality is not the goal, heaven is not the goal. The one and only goal is to know the God who created us. All else flows from that one goal.
Worshiping God is the process of coming to know God. Glorifying God is the process of coming to know God and to portray Him accurately to the world.
Christians believe they come to know God by obeying His command to love our neighbors for where love is, there God is also.

My purpose is to glory God while on this earth- and yes, I do have someone to answer for my deeds, and His Name of Jesus. Jesus died on the Cross to save me from sin, but that grace does not give me license to sin, and not be held accountable. I will be held accountable for every word and deed that I do while on the earth- Christ died on the Cross to save from FROM sin, not free me to sin. Some people will say Lord, Lord and God will say- "remove yourself , I never knew you. I do not think you are offensive, actually it is a very good question. I pray that you will come to know Jesus one day- as your Savior, and live the life that He calls us too-
However, this does not mean we will be perfect- however we will , if we are truly born again believers strive to live every day to please Him.

may I share with you from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
CCC 1 - God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.
CCC 2 - So that this call should resound throughout the world, Christ sent forth the apostles he had chosen, commissioning them to proclaim the gospel: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." Strengthened by this mission, the apostles "went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it."

I agree Christianity can be confusing and even many Christians don't protray it correctly.
God created man with free will because He wants us to learn to love. Love cannot be coerced. By definition it must be a choice.
The Old Testament of the Bible is full of things we are to do to please God. No one is capable of doing all those things all the time. Yet the rules of the game are, man cannot be in the presence of God unless he is clothed in righteousness.
Enter Jesus. God's son was sent to BE the atoning sacrifice for us when all the burnt offerings, drink offerings, guilt offerings had failed to do the job. We still must choose to accept His gift to be Christians.
Part of the deal is that in making that choice, we are agreeing to allow the Holy Spirit to take up residence in us. We are surrendering ourselves to God. It is the Holy Spirit that begins to turn us into the people God wanted us to be, turning us from sin to a holier walk.
There is no "motivation" to be good. I can NEVER be good enough to please God on my own. I don't do good things to impress God.
I do good things because God has impressed me.
The joy He has brought into my dismal life is something I want to share with others.
If, by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are assured of going to heaven, why aren't we zapped up there immediately? Because God wants us to be his messengers, to be light in the darkness, to bring others back to his loving embrace.

Christians are still accountable to God's judgement for their actions, if we make no attempt to follow his law; God will recognise us as hypocrites and liars and condemn us for our sins.
We should be doing good things as a "proof" of our reaction to God's mercy and forgiveness, to quote the Book of James, "...faith without deeds is dead." But we should not do good things just to be seen by others as good, that is just another kind of hypocrisy.
Jesus summed up the entirety of the law and how to please God, in two simple commandments; "Love God with all your heart and mind" & "Love your neighbour as yourself". Do you really need to be told how to treat other people as you would like to be treated?
Do you follow God's laws because you fear punishment or because you love and respect God? I would hope it would be the latter. When it comes to human law, we are supposed to set a good example, would people want listen to you talk about God if you are breaking the law at every step? Obviously we hope that human law will not stop us following God's laws.
People will still break the law if they think they will not get caught or are desperate or greedy enough. There are still murders, rapes and thefts in countries with capital punishment for such crimes. Cutting the hand off a thief as revenge for his crime may stop him stealing with that hand, but will he ever be able to earn an honest wage again? Better to make the thief repay his debt to society by (for example) cleaning the streets than to have him begging on them.
C.S. Lewis in his book,"The Screwtape Letters" raised an interesting point about why God doesn't manifest Himself. An indisputable manifestation of the irresistable God would override our minds to the point where we would have no choice about worshipping Him. Christians believe that Jesus was God in human form, as strongly manifest as God could possibly be in our world without forcing us to believe in Him.
Another issue to consider is that sin is utterly incompatable with God, a sinful person would probably be annihilated by the power and glory of God, like a snowflake in a supernova.
The Bible is not utterly clear on why God created us, but it is clear that God wishes us to be in a loving relationship with him, as C.S. Lewis puts it; "He wants servants who can finally become sons." My opinion on the subject is that, like any good parent, he loves each person just as much as the other, but in a slightly different way, he loves the creativity of one person, the kindness of another. If all your children were mere copies of each other, how boring life would be, even twins start to show differences in character.

The greatest purpose of humans is to have unity to God which one can have only by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) brought about the fallen state of mankind. Humans are sinful because of their iniquity, sins bring curses and both iniquity and curses pass down the generations if they are not cleansed by the blood of Christ. Children are born with defects and suffer unfortunate circumstances because of curses due to their ancestors’ unrepented sins. Hereditary illness is an example of a curse. In the future, God will make a new Heaven and earth, and there will be no more suffering, sickness, sin, evil, old age or death. God’s people (those who accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord) will joyfully and peacefully live in this new and perfect earth, with the Lord Jesus Christ as their King forever. See chapter 21 of the Book of Revelation.
Almighty God was, is and will always be triune (one God in three persons, not three gods). God is comprised of the Father, the Son (Lord Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Triune Godhead has a different role. There is only one God (Isaiah 43:10-11; 44:6,8; 45:21-22; 46:9; John 17:3; 1 John 5:20-21). The Father is God (1 Peter 1:2; Philippians 2:11), the Lord Jesus Christ is God (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1; 20:28; Hebrews 1:8; Hebrews 13:8; Revelation 1:7-8; 2 Peter 1:1; Titus 2:13) and the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; Acts 28:25-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 3:17).
Without God, man’s spirit is unilluminated. This illumination happens at the time one’s spirit is united to the Holy Spirit (which happens only after one has accepted Christ as their Saviour). The Light went out of the spirit after the fall of man. Man had lost communion with God. Christ, the second person of the Triune Godhead made the sacrifice for our sins so the Light could be lit in the spirits of all. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord. The infilling of the Holy Spirit was possible only after Christ’s sacrifice. Before the death of Christ, the Holy Spirit only fell on persons who worshiped and served the true God (Judges 15:14; Ezekiel 11:5). Hebrews 9:6-8 (KJV) tells us that unity to God “the way into the Holiest of all” was also possible only after Christ’s sacrifice which brought an end to the Old Covenant. Christ made the sacrifice for our sins as the spotless lamb (1 Peter 1:9) and took the place of the Jewish high priest and became our eternal High Priest (Hebrews 6:20). The Book of Hebrews explains how the Old Covenant was replaced by the New Covenant.
The blood of Christ was shed so our sins could be paid for and we could have direct unity to God. The Holy Spirit leads us to remain focused on God so we can grow spiritually. God the Father lives within believers (John 14:23), God the Holy Spirit lives within believers (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and God the Son also lives within believers (2 Corinthians 13:5, Galatians 2:20). Because Christ lives in us, we are a new being, having our old self with its evil practices stripped off, and we are being renewed and remoulded after the image of God, in order to bring us to a full knowledge of Himself (Colossians 3:9-10). Because He lives in us, we have His peace (John 16:33), we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), we have His strength to do all things (Philippians 4:13) and we are a chosen race, the King’s priests, the holy nation and God’s own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God (Peter 2:9). As Christians, the Lord Jesus Christ is always interceding for us (Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25), He is preparing a place for us in heaven (John 14:1–3) and He baptizes us with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11).
The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the word of God which is the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
Jesus Christ is Lord over all:
Philippians 2:9-11
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
False doctrines claim that there are several paths to God. The word of God tells us that THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD AND THIS IS THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AS ONE’S LORD AND SAVIOUR.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him
Shortly after physical death, humans pass into either Heaven or Hell. Before Christ’s sacrifice, access into Heaven was not possible for human souls. The souls of those who loved and served the true God were kept in the paradise part of a spiritual place within the earth called Sheol, and the other part of Sheol was a prison of torment where the souls of those who rejected God ended up (Luke 16:19-31). There was a spiritual gulf fixed between these two parts so no soul from one side could cross over to the next (Luke 16:26). Access into Heaven was made possible for humans by Christ’s sacrifice and right after He died on the cross He went into the paradise part of Sheol, told the good souls (who were there for thousands of years) what He did and took them up to Heaven (Matthew 12:40; Ephesians 4:8–10; 1 Peter 3:18–20). The paradise part of Sheol no longer exists but the prison part of Sheol still does. This part of torment is called Hades or Hell. Those who reject God by not receiving Christ or any one of the Triune Godhead (Jeremiah 15:6; Matthew 12:311; Chronicles 28:9; 1 John 2:23) end up there and then go into the Lake of Fire after the Millennium (Revelation 20:15). Earthly fire, Godly fire (the type Jesus baptizes with) and the tormenting fire of the Lake of Fire are three different types of fire. There is also demonic fire which demons can produce.
Reincarnation is a false teaching (Hebrews 9:27). The Lord Jesus said that the human being’s afterlife state whether torment or paradise, will be eternal (Matthew 25:46). In the original text, the Greek word for eternal, aiōnion is used. He didn’t say that we would be born again and again until we got it right and received liberation. He would not have made that huge sacrifice for us if we could have had unity to God another way, and if there was another way, He would have taught that. The Lord said he could have employed legions of angels to prevent His crucifixion (Matthew 26:53), but because of His great and perfect love for humanity, He chose to endure a very painful death so we could be redeemed and united to God.
Salvation, redemption, reception of the Holy Spirit and adoption as God’s own children happen the instant a human being has faith in Christ as their Saviour and Lord and not at some future time in the believer’s life.
People who have not accepted Christ can become better individuals, but only to a certain extent. The Holy Spirit calls out to everyone but only those who have let the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Triune Godhead) into them by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are the ones who are transformed and experience abundant and constant spiritual growth.
Iniquities (tendencies that cause one to sin) pass down the generation line (Numbers 14:18). After one accepts Lord Jesus as their Saviour, God forgives their sins as they truly repent and removes their iniquities (evil tendencies) in the transformation process which makes one more and more like Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 9:12-14). After genuinely accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, ALL sinners (alcoholics, liars, drug addicts, fornicators etc.) will be saved and transformed. Each believer is cleansed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and receives the infilling of the Holy Spirit who renews them.
REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH
Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.
If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:
"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood. Come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"
