what games can you play at a baby shower?

my sis is havving a baby shower, and were not sure what to do, besides tguessing the weight of baby, and its due date.
help need ideas.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw on the Girls Next Door episode when Holly was throwing a baby shower. She melted different types of candy bars and put them into diapers. The party guests had to guess what type of candy bar was in eat diaper either by sight, taste, or smell. It seemed like a gross, but kinda unique game. Good luck!

I played the diaper with chocolate game and oh, what fun! But another cute idea is to partner the ladies up and have one lady feed the other a bottle of milk. The ladies that finish the bottle the fastest win!

Another idea is to take a tray/plate and put baby items on it - brush, comb, safety pin, q-tip, pacifier, little bottle of soap, rubber duck, pink bow, barrette, a bootie, etc. and slowly go around the room letting everyone view the tray. After everyone has seen it - hide it and have them write down what was on the tray. The person that gets the most right wins!

Number jars of baby food (1 of ea. different kind). You could have 5; you could have 10. Make a list for the hostess of what each number is and then take the labels off. Pass around the jars and have the guests write down what they think is in each jar. After everyone has viewed the jars, reveal what they really are. This is a bit challenging, but fun for people that haven't had children in awhile!

diaper toss- (put a diaper near a baby hamper-see who can sink 3 diapers in the hamper)

the name game (see if people can come up with the strangest names for a baby)

Moses and the basket-(a team effort...again with a doll, an eastern type and toilet paper, make the nice basette from toilet paper and the basket)

Hot potato basby style (moving a baby doll slowly around the room before the timer runs out-REMEMBER no tossing)

Dont forget the gift time for the new mommy

Had a wonderful baby shower a few years ago. We got tired of the same old same old. Put up a christmas tree and we knew that the expectant mother to be was having twin girls so I decorated the tree with white lights a (tree was also white) and purchased small cheep baby bottles that had pink niples and tops tied a ribon to them and hung them on the tree. We went to the salvation army and purchased all the hats we could regardless of what they looked liked and decorated them them with all types of things, stuffed toy animals, big ugly flowers, christmas bows, atirfitical fruit and ribions that did'nt match and ect, made them really look crazey and then placed them in large garbage bags and had everyone grab a hat and wear it during the shower. We had a vote on who looked the funniest in their hats and they won a prize to give the mother. We filled a bucket with cotton balls and blindfolded some of the guest and gave them a spoon to see how many cotton balls that they could scoop out of the bucket in so many seconds and then that person that spooned more of the cotton balls won a gift so that they could give the mother to be. If you have a younger crowd or have a few younger guest have them have a race drinking out of small baby bottles to see who can drink out of the baby bottles the quickest, just be sure to make the holes in the nipples a little larger, you would'nt belive how hard it is to suck out of a baby bottle till its all gone. We also had the father be present and gave him a plain hat and placed all the bows from the presents to his hat and took pictures of him for the babys photo album. You could also have a baby food tasting contest. remove all the labels from the baby food and give everyone numbers as they come in draw 5 numbers and blind fold these 5 people and have them taste and tell you what kind of baby food they are tasting. I guess this was one of the best and the most fun baby showers that the guest said they had in a long time. Good Luck and Have Fun you dont wont it to be boring. Be Different!

Take both parents names (ex. Tom and Sue Walsh) and tell everyone how many baby names can you come up with in two minutes out of the parents names. Also the guess the poop game is great (melting chocolate candy bars in diapers and everyone tries to guess what it is). Another good game is on a tray place 16-20 baby items (ex. baby brush, bottle, bib, pacifier, etc) and go to each table and give them 30 seconds to look at the tray and then you walk away and they have to write down what was on the tray (not as easy as it sounds). The one that is a sure winner and we always have a lot of fun is the following.
You can create bracelets or necklaces out of whatever you want ribbons and add something decorative baby.
Once you have gathered some guess, give one to everyone. They must wear it.
They can not cross there legs, once they have crossed there legs and another guess spots them. The guess who spotted them gets to have there necklace. Once they have lost there necklace they can cross there legs, but can also take other guess necklaces if they cross there legs. The point is to collect the most necklaces and remember if they have a necklace on they can not cross there legs. This is really a lot of fun because as a woman you are just acustomed to cross your legs. Crossing your feet also counts as crossing your legs.

Another game is guess her stomach size.
Pass a roll of toilet paper to the guess and they have to guesstimate how much will they need to go around her.
Once all your guess have there guestimate toilet paper strip you bring them 1 by 1 and have them see if they were right or wrong. Once they have tried they can place the toilet paper to the mom to be as a bandana, bracelet, necklaces, bows, whatever. At the end she will be decorated with the toilet paper and it will be a cute picture opportunity.

take different kind of baby foods and put them in diapers...have the guests guess what they are...
sting beans squah..peaches and stuff like that it is funny

or you can put peanutbutter in a diaper one for each guest....and let them thum through it...put something in the peanutbutter in only one diaper who ever has that something is the prize winner

go to the dollar store...get mini babies and freeze them in ice cubes who ever thaws first just gave birth and is the prize winner
