YOU KNOW WHAT SCREW ALL OF U WHO DISAGREE HERE IS THE ARTICLE!!!!
Have you ever wondered why your cat likes to lick bags and play in them? Well the reason is that they believe they are back in the womb. You may ask well if we can't remember being in the womb then how can they? Well the answer is simple. cats can remember certian things about their life that humans can not. This theory has been proven by the top vet. scientists. For futher info follow this link or copy and paste the link. This link will exspire on October 11, 2007.

That's completely inaccurate. Cats don't remember being in the womb any more than we do. Secondly, they don't play during gestation. The only thing adult cats relate to being kittens with their mother is the kneading action. Kittens knead their mothers abdomen when they suckle to stimulate milk flow. It's thought that when older cats make the kneading motions, they are very content and remembering suckling with their mothers.
+ Uterus, not "uteris"
+ Womb, not "whom"

They like the rattling noise the bags make. Same reason cats like playing with paper. Nothing to do with going back to the womb.

They play in paper bags because they like the noise they make and they think that if they can't see you then you can't see them. My grandparents' cat would crawl under the area rug to "hide" from me when I was very young thinking that since he could not see me then I could not see him. When they are young they will "hide in bags, boxes, etc. so they can hone their stalking skills by what they think are sneak attacks.

I not only didn't know that, I disagree. Cats like bags and boxes, as they are like caves. I think it stimulates the hunting instinct. They also have a sense that they cannot be seen by others.

cats like to be in secluded form fitting spaces for the means of protection and it makes them feel comfortable....replicating the mother's womb in some sort...just like human beings, why do some of us sleep in a fetal position...other things about cats they like to lie on your chest because they can feel your heartbeat which also reminds them of the womb.

I don't think that is true. How could they remember being in the womb if humans can't? We are smarter than cats and if they could remember than so could we.

I disagree. Cats like the rattly sound, they like to hide and jump out at prey (or you), they are looking for groceries in the grocery bag, or they are exploring.
