It has been proven cinnamon helps with sugar counts.
Other than that go to the library look at some herbal books, and look it up. Vegetables are better than other foods, avoid a excessive amount of breads

Foods do not produce insulin...the pancreas produces insulin in response to food broken down into sugar in the blood. Foods high in carbohydrates (grains, pasta, breads, sweets) will break down into sugar. These foods will cause the pancreas to secrete more insulin in order to use the sugar in the blood.

No special food stimulates pancreas. But a high vitamin mineral food like leafy vegetables are most advised.
