My guess is about $15-$20 a head, but it can vary greatly depending on how fancy you make it, meat or no meat.

I catered my Dad's wedding reception for 75 people and it cost me 150 bucks. Total. That's it no bull. The menu:
vegan chili
corn and tomato salad
cornbread
Cuban Black Beans
Yellow Rice
White Mexican Rice with diced tomato and jalapeno
for the carnivores-slow roasted shredded pulled pork with homemeade BBQ sauce-a real crowd pleaser made with pork butt shoulder so cheap at .69/lb.
fruit salad
leafy green salad
southern style collard greens with vinegar added at the end-they LOVED this and there wasn't ANY left
Grilled Corn chunks-break each cob into threes
Nobody knew I was a vegan and they CLEANED their plates total sniper job!!!

I would suggest a $10.00 per plate meal plan. You can serve a vegetable entree, Spanish rice or mash potatoes, meatless Patti saute with a savory gravy or stuffed bell pepper, Rolls, salad and a dessert.

It depends on where you live, it depends on the experience the caterer has with vegan food, and it depends on the time of day and the date you have it.
