I don't each much meat to start off with just bacon, saucage, hotdogs, and peporoni. I've tried vegan food and i LOVE it!!......... any one have any tips that could help me to finally go veg?

Well right now you are not a vegetarian, but, you want to go go veg, which is great, try not to buy meat, and go for vegi burgers or dogs instead, they are great!!! Find food you like better then what you are eating now, if you are younger and still live with your parents tell them, that you want to go veg, i did not tell my parents that i wanted to, but when they cooked meet, i would not eat it, i started to lose weight, and i was getting sick easily, eventtually i told my mom, i was so affraid of telling her, that i harmed myself, she was fine with it, she went out and got me vegi-burgers. Just stick with what you believe in and thats all i can say, Good Luck!!!!!!

Mainly - replace all of your meat cravings with fake meat alternatives (like St. Yves, tofu, seitan, etc.) Yes, it's better to go with actual veggies, fruit, etc....but using fake meats is a great "bridge" that you can use during the transition. Also, go for that fruit. (Maybe brush your teeth whenever you eat them, re: the tooth issue?) After all, fruit is totally vegan...and it's natural...so it's a great choice.

A lot of people who say they don't like veggies probably haven't had them cooked properly. Learn to cook veggies--you may start liking them. I learned to like a few veggies after going vegan. Or have a nice big salad with tons of raw veggies a couple times a week.

If you like bacon, sausage, and hot dogs, you can find vegan versions of them in your local Whole Foods or natural foods store.

Another one "going vegetarian". Yes, you will do well ... ONLY liking bacon, sausage, hotdogs and pepperoni. Sure one tip is to cut eating bacon, sausage, hotdogs and pepperoni. You don't like veggies? What do you think the "veg" is in vegetarian for? And fruit aggravates your teeth. Yes, you are a great candidate for a vegetarian. . . you definitley think like one.

Try being more of a fruitarian. Try also, eating fruits low in sugar.

By the way, its probably not the sugar in fruit that hurts your teeth you probably have a cavity. Go get your teeth cleaned and your cavities filled.

i was just like you eating the same things. until i was finally pushed to not wanting to eat meat at all. learning about the cruelty and things the animals go through. just get a cook book and find something you like. and base other meals off of it. like vegetable stir fry. thats always my favorite.

Why worry about it. Just eat what you like. There are more important things to concern yourself with. Eat to live not vice-versa.
