My next door neighbour was rushed to hospital in an ambulance this afternoon. As concerned neighbours, we gave his wife (who doesn't drive) our number to ring if she needed a lift home from the hospital. My g/f and I joked that they would ring at 6:15, just as we were sitting down to our tea. Low and behold, what happens? So I've sent the g/f off to pick them up, so I can carry on drinking beer and sitting on here answering questions. Good samaritan or what? P.S the hospital is 25 miles away. Not really a question I know, but I just wanted to get that off my chest. No pun intended. Glad my neighbour has been given the all clear, but now I've got to wait for my tea!

For tea, read dinner. And I hadn't started cooking it yet, even though I'd prepared all the ingredients. I've been decorating all day whilst my g/f sat on her fat backside. I will make sure my g/f's dinner is ready and on the table for when she gets back. You heartless bunch!
