Good according to who's standards? God doesn't judge based on our standards. He judges based on His standards found in the Holy Bible. He is looking for righteousness. His word says that we must accept His son, Jesus Christ as our lord and savior to be saved and that homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God.

If you read the bible and its details the answer is no.
In the Old Testament it would not matter how good a person you were, you were bound to the laws of god (as a Hebrew). You cannot separate goodness from the laws that must be followed because both are intertwined.
However, in the New Testament it appears that many of these laws were supposed to be done away with, one was free of the law. In spite of this Jesus was born a Jew, lived as a Jew and died as a Jew. As far as I know if he ever comes back, he will still be Jewish. And to be a god-fearing Jew means to follow the Law of Moses. Some of this seems convoluted and nonsensical and even illogical. Nevertheless there must be some precepts to follow in order to be a godly individual. Being good is not good enough, so it seems.

God loves everyone whether they are good or bad, He didn't pick people to die only for them, He died for everyone. All God wants is that you choose Him too and that you accept Him and all His will. A person who loves God will turn away from things that makes Him grieve.

God demands perfection in order to be accepted by Him, to be in His presence. Being good, is never good enough, so, no, your premise doesn't work. Just as you have values that you want met before you do certain things, or allow certain things, so does God. He just happens to demand perfection. Since that is literally impossible for man to achieve, Jesus is ready to be your intermediary, so long as His rules of engagement are met as well.

Some concepts of god would not, some would.
A god that wouldn't though couldn't be trusted on anything and would probably screw the believers it said would get to heaven just as much as it screws over the ones that get sent to hell.

God does love all of us no matter our religion or sexuality. There is no barrier to His love for us.
God is also a perfect being and a just being and therefore in His justice and in His perfection we must meet a standard. That standard of perfection is Jesus. Which no-one can attain on their own.
God is also merciful and therefore in His mercy He has made a way that we can attain that standard. Through Jesus we can be made whole, perfect, complete, without sin.
Our own righteousness is insufficient to enter in to the Kingdom of God. But His righteousness imputed to us through Jesus Christ is.
Romans 3:9-26 is but one exhortation of this very fact.
(v. 20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin...."v. 23-26 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through redemption, that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith to demonstrate His righteousness....to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.")
This is but one small part where God declares His ardent desire and love for us. We have a part to fulfill and that is to accept the saving act of Jesus on the cross which He proved was worthy to God by His resurrection.
