The summary of these men of science surprised many religious people. They concluded: "From analysis of skeletal remains, archeologists had firmly established that the average build of a Semite male at the time of Jesus was 5 ft. 1 in., with an average weight of 110 pounds. Since Jesus worked outdoors as a carpenter until he was about 30 years old, it is reasonable to assume he was more muscular and physically fit than westernized portraits suggest."
The Gospel writers record an account when Jesus avoided violence by an angry mob simply by mingling with the crowd. Judas had to identify Him with a kiss of betrayal. Obviously, these incidents show us that Jesus looked like any other Jew of His day.

This is quite true and the reason why so many see Jesus as nothing more than a decent human being,if we were to stop there then that is what he would have been, however God could not have come as He was in all His glory and awesome power as the world would not have been able to withstand His presence,He took on human form to be just as we are but without sin.
The Incarnation of God the Son is familiar to us and yet still remains an incredible mystery, how could God be a Man, and the greatest thinking minds in the church have tried to explain this miraculous event and found themselves restricted by the fact that human language is simply inadequate to encompass such an incredible feat.

you do know that the "Jesus family tomb'' has been called both a joke and a mockery of archaeology by many many archaeologists, historians, and museum owners, don't you?
''...The subtitle of the book [The Lost Tomb of Jesus] is given as “The Discovery, the Investigation, and the Evidence That Could Change History.” Cameron, Jacobovici, and co-author Pellegrino have a clear agenda. They do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah, that Jesus was God-incarnate, or that Jesus was resurrected after His crucifixion. The discovery of the “Jesus Family Tomb” is simply a convenient basis for their argument, due to the similarities of the names on the ossuaries to the names of Jesus and His family. If it could be proven that the “Jesus Family Tomb” was indeed the tomb of the biblical Jesus of Nazareth and His family, the resurrection would be disproven, thus destroying the very foundation of the Christian faith (see 1 Corinthians chapter 15).
None of the suppositions of the Jesus Family Tomb project can be proven. In fact, the archaeological community is nearly unanimous in condemning the Jesus Family Tomb as a hoax, with no basis in history or archaeology. There is every reason to doubt the claims of the Jesus Family Tomb – archaeologically, historically, and biblically. The Christian faith has nothing to fear from honest and scientific archaeology.''

It's certain that the real Jesus did not look like the White Jesus portrayed in many paintings and illustrations.

The average picture of Christ was done during the middle ages by men who wanted to project the Caucasian image on Christ. Their is no argument that Christ resembled the the people of his time and geographical location. Anyone today who believes Christ was a white man is ignorant.

Just that gives more credence to the theory that He was fully man and fully God.

Who and what He looked like is of NO conequence. It's who He was, and what he said, that really counts.

You mean we have to guess what he looked like. Aren't there any descriptions of him by people that actally saw him. Oooh that's right, there is nothing written about him by people that actually saw him
