LOL, you might say that for many. The thing with many religions is they wear out, overuse and abuse the "no one's perfect" excuse so that they can conduct themselves innappropriately and feel like "Well, I'm imperfect so I'll go ahead through with my bad behavior". In other words, hypocrites.
Not all do this but most do. That is why at Armageddon 90% of the world's population will be annihalated. I don't know if I'll be amongst them but I try, and I fail miserably.
Many though do use the Bible as a tool to manipulate themselves and influence many other weak persons around them in order that they get away with their filthy, immoral conduct. Many more blatant than others. A lot of people "love living the lie". They love the falsehoods that tingle their ears.
Great and warranted question. Thank you.

I don't think so. If one would read the entirety of a Bible (of any version), s/he would find out that this reason "to make excuses for mistakes" is only incidental and almost insignificant. The purpose of the Bible, as one could deduce from its substance is much much bigger than mere "scape goating". By the way, the term "scape goat" has also its roots from the Bible.

Lots of people do. But I believe that the bible is a guide to help you stop making devistating mistakes. Because it also show end results to those mistakes. People tend to ignore that part but that doesn't mean the result is going to change, now does it?

Born in the imperfections of sin unto death. Anything can happen to any one at any age, even death at any age. The lack in ability to think things out clearly to make the best choices, it does happen. Malfunctions of organs or brain and harmone chemistry, it happens. Dementia, it happens. Born in sin does cause all kinds of problems to contend with as long as one is alive. We have a SAVIOR, he did not give into Satan Matt.4:1-11; The least we can do is try hard to avoid deliberate sins. 2Cor.4:3,4; 11:14; 1Pet.5:8; Just be all that we can be for Jesus.
1Cor.15:22-28; 2Cor.5:10; Rom.14:9-12; Philip.2:5,9-12; Acts 17:31; HOW DO WE WANT TO FEEL WHEN WE FACE OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS?

I agree, some people do use it to make excuses. And I figure that you wouldn't bring it up unless you saw it too.
Real Christianity does the opposite of excuse making. It tears you down so that you are so sorry for being such an a**hole that you need some kind of comfort, and then there is God willing to una**hole you. (I must be getting tired, but I like this), lol.
So, we are saved a**holes. And we are promised to become non a**holes when we get to heaven.
That's what Christianity is all about. Not the perfection seekers who try to convince you that you need to stop sinning and that's you new goal in life. But looking to God for guidance, comfort, and safety. Most of which are just definitions of the word 'salvation' in both the Hebrew and Greek.

some could desire to be homophobic. even with the shown fact that, that doesn't substitute the reality that God considers homosexuality a sin. i'm not homophobic and that i could nicely be acquaintances with gay human beings without a topic. what's to concern? even with the shown fact that, that doesn't substitute the reality that I disagree with their way of life. What your argument does is create a straw guy Christian argument. we are additionally against heterosexual relationships outdoors of marriage. it is sin besides. For our place on that, we are labelled judgmental. We even have faith that abortion is murdering harmless infants. For our place on that, we are labelled close minded suitable wingers. i'm waiting for the day that we are labelled murderphobic for asserting it fairly is incorrect to kill harmless human beings. So, i actually do not care what i'm labelled as via the scoffers. I won't enable their social peer rigidity enable me to stray from the interest of God that i comprehend is actual. the guy who wrote that passage you pasted right here, heavily misunderstands why this is taken into consideration necessary uphold the factors of God. he's the single that isn't being trouble-free. you are able to't declare to serve God and then condone sinful life. this is misguided to hate human beings for thier sins. So, if some Christians are doing that, they could desire to be corrected on their habit, not what they suspect.

God's purpose for the writings found only in The Bible, Torah and The Dead Sea Scrolls was to leave His nation with instructions based on His scientific knowledge for them to follow to survive many future generations on planet Earth. His warning was simple. If you follow My simple instructions things for you and your children will go well. If you refuse to follow My simple instructions you will be destroyed by sickness and disease and by yours and Mine enemies.

Oh the hell he must have felt. What about Adam, then, David etc etc. Although Job may have been the one who best was closest to God. All that poetry. Read the old testament poety paticulary by the prophets befroe the end of the old testament.

No ...absolutely not!! The Bible is to give us councel and instructions on how God wants us to live, the way to have salvation, and what pleases and displeases God!! All of us are sinners....there is none who are perfect in the sight of God, No NOT ONE!! I will pray for your spiritual well-being! You seem very lost.
