Evelynn don't worry because I doubt either Bush or Mr Howard will be leaders next year.

I did quite a bit of travelling before my kids. I went to England to see the Queen, New Zealand during the beautiful winter, and over to the USA in Seattle for 6 months. I love those countries, but am glad I call Australia home.

I'm a new australian of 12 years and feel very priviledged to be allowed to live here. I was a New Zealander and although New Zealand is a beautiful country I wouldn't go back to the cold I've lived in England and travelled extensivly through the world and feel so lucky to have the sun sand surf an abundance of great food a huge variety in scenery always plenty to do mostly nice people and a government that cares about you.{ Not that i agree on John Howard in many ways but he's done me no Harm as yet, except for the war thing so we are a bit more vunerable So yes yes yes I Love Australia

not really.

our health system is fast on the way to becoming like america, the road systems don't have enough money in them to keep them maintained and education has taken a back seat to sport. poverty and homelessness are also becoming bigt issues if you've missed out due to the resources boom.

i've done a GREAT deal of travelling. australia is my home, but i can see the great many downfalls this country has. i find it sad that other australian's are blind to this.

I agree. We'll be a lot better off, however, when Howard stops kissing Bush's ass by putting us into wars we don't belong in.
