i'm just asking, i've been wearing glasses ..hey, is it true that once you're wearing an eyeglass, the grade of your eyes will rise? is it a myth or what? if for example i have a 50 vision, will it be true that if after some time it will be 60 because of glasses? thnx

Its a myth. If your eyes change it would have happened regardless of whether you were wearing glasses or not.

There is evidence that myopia can be induced by close work. It's been demonstrated with animal studies. Experiments with schoolkids suggested that some people are more susceptible than others. There's a lot of controversy about this, as you might guess from the other responses.

If you are moderately nearsighted with low astigmatism, try taking your glasses off when you're doing a lot of reading. It will relax your eyes. If you're already very nearsighted, ask your eye doctor to prescribe you a reading addition. It can't do any harm.
