Spring break alone?

Has anyone ever gone on spring break vacation alone? Would you recommend it? What do you think of the idea?

I go on all kind of vacations alone, so also spring breaks.
But whether you like it depends on what you are used to, how you travel and what you expect.

Prepare well, if you want to meet people best go to a place where there will be more people traveling alone, hostels are good places to sleep and meet people, but if you want rest and quiet, a small hotel in a small town might be better.

Spring break is short, so do not travel far away, the time in a plane and the time you need to recover from flying (jet-lag) will eat much of the vacation time.

I think many people travel in the spring break, so best book ahead, so you are sure to have a bed to sleep in. (If you travel in a time when not many people travel you can risk going without reservations.)
