What's your point? The sin is in the one who does the lusting, not the one who is lusted after. A woman doesn't have the ability to stop someone from lusting after her.

Just like he said..... "Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath 'committed adultery' in his heart. Anotherwards, it is a sin to lust with your heart. Do not look at a woman in lust, period. Even when you are married.

Jesus was teaching how easy it is to sin and what we think of as innocent flirting and "just" dirty thoughts, they don't mean I'll do anything.....are actually violations of "Thou shalt not commit adultery". Are we condemned? yes, but also forgiven. He was trying to show us how easy it is to fool yourself into believing what you're doing isn't really a sin..when to God, it is. That's why we believe that all fall short of the glory of God, and that by just "following the law" we would fail, because we can't be perfect, no matter how hard we try. It is through faith that we are rescued.
'way too many women allow men to lustfully look at them, they think they're being complimented, when they're actually being insulted.
men who need eye candy and have the need to show off "their" candy, (it's not theirs, it's hers) are showing their pathetic weakness and shallowness. A man who is secure in his manhood doesn't need eye candy.

I don't think that's what Christians are led to believe so much anymore, because whenever something stops being a conveniance for the Church to teach, it stops being a sin. Examples? The hunting and killing of witches and homosexuals. People don't want to be involved with that kind of religion anymore, so the Church (being as people-pleasing as they are) have changed their preachings to suit what's most likely to drag in more sheep.

I think women can't help what passes in men's minds. And probably men can't help thinking about beautiful women in that way. Nature calls, but you can act or not upon it and this is where you show morality.
I think I detect an underlying wish to put the blame on women, which is sadly retarded.

many immodest women dress provocativley............sometimes, they even dress their children that way. gotta snag 'ema man, ya know
many women will say that's just how they dress and they are comfortable like that.so how come they don't do it when there are no men around? the skirts hike up and the blouse loses another button when the cute boys are looking. and that's when the makeup comes out. we don't get all gussied up to garden, watch tv, go to grandma's house or the gym.........we do it for the boys
are you omar?

If I were Christian I might say you've raised a valid point.
Some women like being lusted after, some women want to feel desired. Far be it from me to force them to dress in a different manner.

Jesus was only demonstrating how sinfull the heart of mankind can be. If you look at a person with lust, the sin is in your heart not the object you admire.
